Ordered pupusas for takeout for a big family dinner. We loved them! Authentic and delicious Salvadoran food and excellent, friendly service. I'll be ordering again soon!

Tastes exactly like a Salvadoran household, first came here around 2007. I’m always wowed by their quality of service and the excellent reflection of their work

I brought my bf here on his visit to edmonton because i didnt have time to make pupusas from scratch, Turns out this took longer than it would have taken me to make them from scratch. It took a little over an hour for us to get our food. The excuse I was given was that they were backed up but there was only 4 other tables. When we finally got our pupusa's they were mediocre at best and the tiny mason jar or curtido that comes with the meal, was barely enough.

We would have been better off going to a fast food restaurant and should have eaten before we came because we were starving by the time we got our food.

This restaurant used to be so good. How disappointing to see how awful it has gotten. 👎🏼

I have been going to Acajutla for many years now. They have the BEST pupusas in the city. I have tried the competition, to be fair, but keep coming back for theirs. They are better than my abualas’. Consistent quality and taste. Get the mixed (pork, cheese and beans) ones and DON’T forget the green sauce! Dress them up with cortido, red sauce and green sauce, add a cerveza and enjoy a wonderful taste of El Salvador.

Quiet restaurant, staff were very friendly and helpful. The pupusas were excellent and the tortilla soup was perfect on a chilly day

I visited Acajutla this past Sunday with a large group of friends, and we all had an amazing experience. The food was delicious—especially the authentic pupusas. Our waitress, María José, was the true highlight. Her attention to detail and warm, attentive service made our visit exceptional. Highly recommend!

The food is great! The service is very slow, so you have to be patient.

Hot sauce in a Mexican restaurant is a must, especially a home made sauce. Unfortunately, they did not have any.

Best pupusas in town! And they are super kind to support Latin events in the city! Thats why they are the longest established Latin restaurant in the city. 🫶🏼
