My friend from El Salvador introduced me to this place, and the magic of papusas. They are one of the most delicious things I've ever had! The pickled cabbage and sauce make them even better. Also had the horchata which is also delicious. I come back whenever I get a chance and I'm in the area.
We had a great dinner — the food was delicious and well prepared.
We went on a Wednesday evening, and the restaurant was busy, but the service was still excellent.
There was only one server working, and she handled everything smoothly with a great attitude.

I have been going to Acajutla for many years now. They have the BEST pupusas in the city. I have tried the competition, to be fair, but keep coming back for theirs. They are better than my abualas’. Consistent quality and taste. Get the mixed (pork, cheese and beans) ones and DON’T forget the green sauce! Dress them up with cortido, red sauce and green sauce, add a cerveza and enjoy a wonderful taste of El Salvador.
