Doing Farmers Market thought I would have bowl of soup turkey vegetable. Great if you like carrots celery. Mainly broth talk to staff and she gave me another. It was the same. For 7.00 you expect a better soup. Looks like they cleared out the fridge. .

Leigh provided us with exceptional service, so friendly and accommodating for a great breakfast offering the total value meal efficiency. She served us the most pleasant Service I’ve seen in a while. She took time for us and made us feel comfortable and wanting us to return for the service she provided. We will be back !

They were closing in around half an hour when we arrived. The food was lovely but we felt very uncomfortable as they cleaned the whole restaurant around us. We left just before closing but felt we overstayed our welcome. Would have preferred if they told us they were closing shortly so we could have gone elsewhere.

Great service today. Ordered vege omelet, and it was hot and delish. When I stated I did not want hash browns, the waitress suggested sliced tomatoes. Enjoyed the substitution. Will eat here again.

Albert’s is a staple in Edmonton for breakfast and brunch. Since I couldn’t remember the last time I had their food, I decided to give it a shot. The hostess that greeted us and then gave us our coffee and waters, was friendly, welcoming and super attentive. I wish I could have gotten her name, she was a younger girl and again, super helpful. After we got our coffees, the waitress then came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. Since my partner was in the washroom and just returned, he didn’t have time to view the menu. She then said she would give us a few minutes to decide. After about 15 minutes, no refill on the coffee and watching our waitress attended to all the other patrons and them receive their food, have refill on the drinks, and mind you, these are people who came in after us. I then went to ask the hostess to be seated in another section. Once she saw me approach the hotess she told me she was giving me a few minutes, however by that point I could tell, we were not her “ideal” patrons, with her being overly attentive and friendly to the elderly crowd, which was the majority of who was in the restaurant. I could see her then have a discussion with who would then be my waitress. We were then seated in Leigh’s section and she was super friendly and apologetic for how the experience went. I ordered the eggs Benny and my partner ordered the meat scramble. The food was what you would expect, nothing crazy but it was decent. Overall 2.5/5. I will still be a customer, but definitely not this location.
This is our local Albert's and we love it! My husband and I recently moved into the Ottewell area and started coming for breakfast every Sunday. The vibe is cozy, the food is delicious, and the service is top tier. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfy place to spend your mornings.

Was extremely disappointed that this restaurant did not have any GLUTEN FREE options whatsoever!! My sister is Celiac, and was reduced to ordering an egg and some bacon! Even the potatoes - fries, tots, mashed - were not available to her as they are dipped in something to make them crispy or whatever. This is the last time I will eat at this restaurant. To whomever owns/manages Albert's restaurants - please remember not everyone can tolerate gluten and have some gluten-free options available.
