We recently visited this establishment, expecting to cap off the night with what we assumed to be a elegant and upscale cocktail bar. From the start, the hostess and server were not in alignment with available seating and services, this set the stage for the remainder of night. Due to air quality issues, arrangements were made to move patrons from the patio to indoors. We were notified by our server that a table in the private room had been made available to us and once we were ready someone would come and accompany us to said seating. Upon relocating indoors, we were seated at a completely different room and table than what was assured without notification. A low light to what was otherwise a night filled with highs. Will not and cannot recommend any dignified person to subject themselves to that kind of service.

Just a club with a sweet door. Not a speakeasy. Its cool to call yourself a speakeasy but when you're blasting musing on a 5th floor patio in the ice district you ain't no speakeasy.

I had an amazing time at Alchemy Bar. The atmosphere was the perfect mix of lively and comfortable, with great music and just the right volume for conversation. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. Drinks were beautifully presented, balanced, and full of flavor. The space feels inviting whether you’re out with friends or just stopping in for a solo drink. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Great place for drinks and snackies. The oysters on shell were an awesome 😎 price and super fresh. I had a great 👍 custom made cocktail 🍹 which I thoroughly enjoyed. Ambiance was completely on par. Love the speakeasy feel and, the service. Honestly, menu items were a bit pricey and, as were 🍷 drinks. I would love 💕 to see a bit more happy hour items offered. Most definitely will return and, enjoy 😊 your great 😊 patio. Thank you for giving my son a memorable birthday 🎂

Sunday at 8p this place looked awful and was musty. Wished I’d gone to clementine or bar Henry at the 25 dollar drinks price point. Grace given to the staff who have probably been thru a hell of a hockey season, but the lounge at our best hotel should be top notch. I was embarrassed to bring people from out of town here.

I am born and raised in Edmonton. 29 years old. Love to visit as many Edmonton restaurants/lounges as I can. I always come back to places that me and my friends have great moments/times at. Alchemy is by far the place I come back to the most, and a big reason is because of Riley.
Absolutely amazing service. Me and my friends told him our name the first time we went there, and it was only for 20 minutes during the oilers playoff hype. He remembered me and all my friends, and always made sure we were having a great time. That’s very rare in this day and age.
The entire staff is always so accommodating, and helpful, and are always there for their customers.
Riley is a big reason we always come back whenever we are downtown, and will continue to be. I hope he becomes part of management, because the hospitality he shows us is out of this world.
Secret menu item is a matcha espresso martini, that he invented. Would highly recommend ordering it. It’s absolutely amazing.
