We had such an amazing experience at Alchemy Bar, and Taylor absolutely made the night, especially since it was my birthday! From the start, she was so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She gave great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect the whole time.
The highlight was when she surprised me by lighting a sparkler for my birthday. It was such a small but thoughtful touch that made the night feel extra special. You can tell she really cares about her guests and goes above and beyond.
Taylor’s energy, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for her!

This was a mixed bag experience. The entry is amazing and it’s so fun to see the magic bookshelf door open up to reveal the bar behind. It was pretty quiet before an Oilers game, but we were really surprised when a family with two small children was placed right behind us. We weren’t really expecting the bar to be family-friendly. For a quiet, chill, upmarket vibe, the sound of a loud iPad playing a game really didn’t make the atmosphere pleasant. If you’re trying to be fancy with $20-25 drinks, kids at sunset doesn’t really do it… especially when there’s a more causal dining and drinking area downstairs. I was also disappointed with the lack of gluten-free food options on the menu. We ended up leaving after one drink, although it was a nice drink. It could be a great place if it knew what sort of place it wanted to be.

Nice ambiance, had a girls night over the weekend. We did however experience a rude server. I'm not normally one to complain but I did let the staff know on our way out since we are paying decent amount for the drinks/ food and would except good service. The security was very kind and did bring out the manager to let us talk to her about our experience. Overall good spot in Edmonton for cocktails ( a bit more expensive but we knew that going in ).
