There was issues with our order even from the start. Ordered 2-3 hours in advance and it was still delayed. We did not receive the proper items in our order. The portions of meat was very small. We asked for a lower spice level and it was not adjusted. Fried rice, fried chicken and veggies were good despite the veggies being spicy. All in all we paid extra since we had missing items, small portions for meat, waited extra, and our requests were not properly received.

Tried their Beef Tahari, Shahi Roast with Pulao and Rohu Do Pyaza. The Pulao was nothing but plain rice. Shahi Roast was far below average and the quality of fish was questionable. Just the Beef Tahari was barely palatable. Extremely disappointed. I had heard that traditionally Bangladeshi cuisine and chefs are excellent but this experience proved just the opposite. On top of it all, although their menu shows plenty of choices, they hardly have 30% of the items available on any given day. This place won't survive for long if they do not improve drastically. For the time being it is best to avoid this place.

Authentic Bangladeshi food. Tastes like home.
I have been here over 5 times now, and every single item I tasted has been excellently prepared. The proportion of food is also very generous.

Have tried a few items, food is delicious and clean. Would recommend. Interior paint is too bright, the space had more potential.

The shahi roast polao is truly shahi. Very rich and creamy with lots of flavour. Quantity is very good and more than enough for one person. I also had the loitta shukti bhuna and rohu dopeyaja, those were absolutely delicious. I still remember the taste. The food made my heart happy. Thank you for opening a Bangladeshi Restaurant in Edmonton. I visited more than 4 times in a week when I was there.

I ordered Aloo Bhorta, Beef Curry, Rohu Fish Dopiaza, Plain Rice, Shahi Morog Pulao, Mutton Rezala, Plain Pulao, and Shahi Chicken Roast with Pulao for takeout through Uber Eats. However, I didn't receive the beef curry. The prices of the dishes seem reasonable, especially during inflation when everything is expensive. Unfortunately, I couldn't appreciate the taste and quality of the food. Everything was extremely spicy and bland, with a very low flavor profile. The chicken roast and the chicken in the Morog Pulao were covered in the same sauce. The Mutton Rezala didn't taste like Rezala; I don't know what it was. The rice dishes, especially the Pulao, were half-cooked, not fluffy, and had no flavor whatsoever. I'm puzzled as to why it's called Pulao! Everything else was poorly cooked with an emphasis on high spice levels and excessive oil. This food cannot be remotely considered Bangladeshi. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant."
