Visiting a friend in the area and I wanted a coffee. I dropped by the anvil. They were very friendly there. Outside, I sat and talked to a couple of the patrons. They were regulars there. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Super friendly service but the espresso was pretty meh and the cookie was super dry.

Love the coffee, the staff, the vibe. Also that they offer local artisans to display their art

I ordered a small flat white with a single shot, but what I received was a large latte, mostly milk with very little coffee. When I asked the barista, she said this is how they make their flat white. I’ve had flat whites at many places before, and this was definitely not it. To make it worse, the staff were too busy chatting with each other to pay proper attention. Very disappointing experience
Loved our visit to Anvil Coffee House! The cozy, artsy vibe made it a perfect spot to relax. We ordered a chai latte and a flat white—both were delicious and well-prepared. The warm atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Definitely planning to come back!

I love this friendly community hub cafe. Great food and drinks, friendly staff and a lovely assortment of local artisan wares available for sale as well.
A nice coffee place with interesting decor. Can get a bit noisy when full.
Local gem in Ottewell. There's not many quality independent coffee spots around town and this one is great. Maybe one of the best all-round drip coffees in the city.
Great food and vendor for lots of local merch
Hope your 2025 is great
