I used to go to Ayco a lot, but the service has gone down considerably and I won’t be going back. This last visit, I was 2nd in line and I ordered two coffees and two croissants—one of which was the last item in the case. It took 15 minutes for the customer before me to get their drinks and coffee, and then I watched the next 3-4 customers who were after me get their food and drinks. Finally, after 25 minutes of waiting, I approached the counter to find out that my drinks still weren’t made and they had given my croissant to one of the customers that had been in line after me. No apology, no explanation.

With how many great coffee shops there are in the city, I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

Cozy spot for a coffee break. Matcha latte had a delicate natural sweet taste, a blueberry croissant was fresh, crispy, not too sweet.

We stopped by Ayco Cafe for a quick take-out and had an iced matcha latte and iced chai latte — both were exactly what we hoped for: smooth, flavorful, and refreshing. The staff were super friendly and easy to talk to, with great customer service and clear communication. We didn’t get a chance to try their brunch or baked goods this time, but judging by the amazing display and wide selection, we’ll definitely be back to explore more. Looking forward to our next visit!

This was our first time at Ayco cafe and we liked it. The entrance was a little hidden but there was a small sign out front by the door so we found it promptly.

Their pastries were displayed beautifully behind the glass. Everything looked so good. We eventually ordered a Latte with oat milk, a London Fog with oat milk, a Lemon Meringue Cruffin, and the Supreme Matcha Strawberry Croissant.

Both the food and drinks were good. The Lemon Meringue Cruffin was tasty. I loved the lemon meringue filling and I felt that there was a generous amount inside the cruffin. The Supreme Matcha Strawberry croissant was lovely as well. The matcha cream on top was so enjoyable. Though the pastries were delicious, it was served slightly cold. It would've been nice if they were served fresh or at least toasted. For me, because of the temperature and texture it didn't taste as fresh as I would've liked.

Our drinks were great though. My latte was smooth, rich, and tasted great. My boyfriend's London Fog was foamy and nice too.

Service was nice, the workers we interacted with were friendly. We got our orders slightly late, but the back area had two tea parties going on so it was understandable. Bathrooms were really nice here too. Thank you for serving us!

Ayco is my favorite cafe in Edmonton (maybe anywhere to be honest). The pastry is delicious, and there are so many fun options! My go to order was the toasted breakfast croissant with turkey and without the egg. The matcha latte iced or hot was also a staple in every trip. Lastly, I tried several of the sweet croissants and every single one absolutely slapped. I wish I lived in Edmonton so I could go every day.
The staff were also very nice and the one gentlemen got to know my order and knew exactly what I wanted when I came to the till (so that goes to show how much I loved it)!!! I still look for that breakfast croissant everywhere I go.

The matcha strawberry pastry was divine and has the same strawberry filling as the donut, silky and perfect amount sweet and not artificial tasting. I also had tea and the presentation was *chef's kiss*
Staff were super friendly and actually followed us out into the sidewalk and around the corner when I left my phone in the booth.
10/10, full recommendation.

We asked for a vegetarian sandwich and it had egg in it. Not enough tissues provided. service not great only provided a portion of food ordered.

Only after service did the chef explain that we should have asked for vegan option. We clearly said that the sandwich should only be veg/ it wasn't even an option given to us.

Vegetarian options: They have none.

Dietary restrictions: Nothing dairy free accept oat milk
