Found this GEM of a bakery by chance and what an excellent find!! I wanted one of everything. I bought a wide array of items, sausage rolls, pretzels, cakes, pastries and cookies. It was reasonably priced and worth every penny!! My daughter is blind and when she left she told the owner how beautiful his bakery smelled and an underlying smell of clean. I plan to frequent this bakery often now that I found it. Beautiful community bakery’s like this need to be supported.
I'm not sure what it's called, but the cinnamon swirl pastry that's like a cross between a cinnamon bun and a croissant is the best dessert I've ever had!! I could eat them every day. The pretzel bagels are also delicious.
Oh my word!!! Definitely check out this little bakery on 82ST. I’ve had the bread before which is definitely delicious. The whole wheat is so good, but today I tried a filled to order donut. You can pick either glazed or unglazed or Sugared doughnut and he will fill it with Bavarian cream, jelly or lemon. Super fresh and light. Not sickly sweet either which is nice. Definitely worth trying out. I also bought a loaf of the raisin bread which I had never tried before. Toasted...
