Good food— terrible service. Ambiance is nice and steak was perfect. Don't start your tip function at 18% if you provide no value add as a server xo

I was here on business and had come because of reading previous reviews. I was not disappointed. The cocktails were on point, and the chicken liver was amazing. Highly recommended. I had the grilled coulotte and it was perfectly done at medium rare. Would definitely recommend the chocolate chart to finish things off.

I came twice in total, once on a weeknight and once on Friday night. Wasn't super busy, I was see the promptly.

Overall very enjoyable dining experience.

Celebrated my birthday here with my family … outstanding little restaurant! Jesse and Justin (the chefs) went above and beyond making recommendations, checking in on us and being all around amazing. The food was over the moon tasty and the cocktails rocked! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Great food, would absolutely return. The chicken skins were slightly disappointing due to the chewy texture, and because it looks like they weren't cooked in fresh oil, but otherwise, very good experience.

The chef knows what he is doing - creative and interesting fare using quality ingredients. Service was polite and efficient. Good value for the cost. I will be back again.

We had a beautiful dinner at Bundok to celebrate a birthday. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We especially loved the parmesan cheese soup and the mouthwatering roast chicken. Only negative was the wine was over priced for a 6oz glass of wine. We would definitely partake again.

We were impressed with every aspect of this restaurant. We appreciated the expert guidance of our server in selecting our cocktails. The variety of appetizers and shared dishes offered pleasing options to each person in our party of 3. As for the desserts, I can only say that we shared 3 different selections, and we each had a difficult time choosing our favorite! We appreciated the relaxing pace that matches the menu format, and the fact that the background music was set at just the perfect volume - it was refreshing to be able to have an engaging conversation while enjoying a terrific meal!

Family-style dining at its best. The beet and pear salad was a standout dish that exceeded expectations, and the gnocchi reshaped my understanding of what well-executed gnocchi should be. Service was attentive and genuinely friendly, all set within a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable experience

An excellent spot for small gatherings. All the food was excellent and the drink recommendations were spot on.

Food was good but service was excellent. The gnocchi came out and it was clearly oversalted, the server apologized right away and took the dish off our bill. Would def come back again. The fried chicken skin and tartare were my favourite.

Positives:
- nice ambiance.
- chicken skins, bread with dill butter, chicken liver was very good. Would definitely order again.

Okays:
- tar tar is a staple anywhere I go. Their bison tar tar didn’t look appealing when we received it, I think it was the layout. I’m used to tar tar stacked and this was spread out on the entire plate and I found the chunks too big. If you’re trying tar tar for the first time or are sensitive to texture, I wouldn’t recommend.

- steak. We asked for medium rare and we received in our opinion medium. We order steak everywhere we go and we know medium and medium rare. We did ask for the steak to be cooked differently and when they brought it back it looked the exact same. We did take it home and it was good in flavour just wasn’t cooked the way we wanted it. I would still recommend the steak.

Meh:
- we had our reservation for opening (5pm) and they quickly ran out of the beer we liked so that was a little whatever.

- I asked for a michelada and they put the Caesar rim on the tall full glass of Clamato and had the beer in another glass with no rim….

- had a dirty martini and my glass was not polished, there were water stains on the entire glass and a couple of floating specs in my drink (I did not mention anything as this was my first drink and first time there and didn’t want to be annoying, but it all added up)

- upon ordering appetizers I mentioned the chicken skins, bread, chicken liver and tar tar all at once, our server only punched in the bread and then when it was brought to our table asked us if we wanted more…. She told us it was her bad for not ringing in the other items.
Fine, totally fine but, there was so many opportunities for her to step up on her service but, she didn’t.

Overall, the food was good, service was meh and I might come back here but not for anything special. Just a quick bite.

Food taste/quality was mediocre (e.g., our top sirloin steak was hard and lacked flavour for $63), the food also came super late, and overall, there just wasn't anything exciting about Bundok. For the price, theres are a ton of better restaurants elsewhere.

Completely empty restaurant at a table tucked in the corner, had the place to ourselves for the first half of our dinner and they sat the only other couple directly adjacent to us. The place was so quiet we could perfectly listen to each other's conversations. Food was average. Drinks were good.
