Service is always great, and the food is perfect. They have perfect gluten free and dairy free options.

Always happy to drop by and pickup some salad rolls. My favorite in town. Home made peanut sauce is excellent, and the bánh Mì is solid!
Great family business!

Super good banh mi, but my favourite is the pho. Food is 10/10 for both myself (meat lover) and my girlfriend (vegetarian). Super fast, super affordable, and great food.

Disappointing. My favourite spot Vanh Loc was closed on Tuesday so I dropped by here to grab a couple for my wife and I before she went to work for 12 hours overnight. Bread was soft, mushy and chewy. Not crispy, crunchy and fluffy. The Banh is like 90% of enjoyment of the meal. Super sad.

Tried Banh Mi Day recently, and overall, I left underwhelmed.
I started with the spring rolls-$10 for 5. They tasted okay, but not worth the price. They had that re-fried texture, like they were cooked once already and just thrown back in the fryer.
The Five Spices Pork Belly banh mi was the highlight. It was packed with veggies and a little light on the meat, but the flavor was solid. The bread had a nice crunch while still being soft inside. Very good overall.
The Sate Beef was a disappointment. Same issue-too much veg, not enough meat, and the flavor just didn't land. Not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it. There was something slightly off about the taste-nothing I could pinpoint, but it didn't sit right.
The restaurant itself is clean, which is a plus. But there's no parking nearby, so expect to park across the street and walk.
Honestly, this isn't a place I'd go out of my way for. Decent, but not memorable

I ordered the Korean BBQ banh mi and the Sate Chicken banh me today. The taste of the Korean BBQ banh mi was my favorite, however, it gave me horrible food poisoning. I haven't had food poisoning like this since I went to Mexico 2 years ago. The food was decent tasting but not sure about the sanitary and food handling standards of this place. I would not go here again.
Best banh mi in the city!
Cute little place downtown! So hard to decide which one I wanted so looks like I just have to keep coming back to try them all lol
Bread was so fresh and the staff was working so hard!

I seriously love this place. Everything I’ve had from here has been delicious. And my fiance and I have tried a large portion of the menu at this point - nothing ever disappoints.
I could eat one of their green onion cakes everyday of my life and not get bored of them!! They’re a 10/10

So addictive! My fiancé and I can’t stop ordering the 5 spices pork belly and Korean BBQ. Ingredients always taste so fresh and the bread is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great value! Their sides aren’t my favourite, but the banh mis are so good, I can’t give this place anything less than a 5. Always quick too! Really love this business!

Banh mi day makes an elevated Vietnamese sub. There are a variety of subs to choose from and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. Every sub I’ve tried has been delicious but cold cuts is always my goto. They post deals on Instagram so they are worth a follow. If you only eat half of your sub it stays good in the fridge over night. There are no other Vietnamese sub places in the area so it is a perfect neighbourhood spot.

I tried the korean beef bbq bánh mì and it's so good. The shrimps rolls also good with its sauce. Recommended!

Cannot thank Angela and the team at Banh Mi Day enough for taking on my massive catering order for my office this week. Not only was the communication incredible (including suggestions on how many platters/types of platters to order), but when the food arrived day of, it was so carefully packages and labelled to make setting it out for staff that much easier. It was a first ordering banh mi to the office and it was an absolutely hit - especially with my gluten free and halal staff. Will definitely be ordering for catering in the future, as well as continuing to stop by for a banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee on my own time.

I ordered grilled chicken and asked for no cilantro. Unfortunately mine had cilantro on it. First bite not great, but easy to fix! I removed the offending item and carried on without any issue! I ate half and refrigerated the other half for supper.
And I must admit, it was even better later, without rewarming...maybe just a weird me thing but so freaking delish!
