Came in really last min to last call. Staff was so so so sweet and accommodating, Nicole and Jake at the bar was amazing and the management (Joe) was wonderful, extremely friendly and top notch sevice. Hands on and super friendly. Jake and Nicole were in a good mood, energy was great, literally couldn't recommend this place more!!!

I don't usually leave bad reviews for local businesses. But this place is just... pathetic. Weird environment, weird people, abysmal service (seriously, some of the worst service I've had after living in Edmonton for a decade), and mediocre food, at best. Good music, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the experience. Will not be back, and would never recommend, to anyone.

Love, love, love! So tasty!

The sashimi in citrus yuzu sauce, peach shrimp Bao and the Yishan Poetry are all MUST tries!!!!

We also really liked the brussel sprouts and A Tribe Called Zest drink.

It's a hit to the wallet but Baijiu delivers!

The food gave me an insane stomach ache. The bouncers are weirdos! The waitresses aren't the friendliest. You work at baijiu, relax please. Joke of an establishment, with all due respect.

This is easily one of the coolest cocktail bars I’ve ever been to. It’s in a really unique area and the vibes are great. If I could describe the theme it would be Vibrant Chinese, because of the neon lights, the Chinese inspired food, the hip hop/trap music and the upscale vibe.

I ordered a Mocktail ($6), Crab Spring Rolls ($18), and the Peach Shrimp Bao ($15). My server was very knowledgeable in the way of bartending, so she made me a Mango/Orange inspired drink. She told me what was in it but I’m forgetting 😂 It was absolutely delicious though. However I will admit, I got the feeling she didn’t want to be working that evening… which was a mood killer for me as I was basically one of the first few customers of the evening.

My crab spring rolls tasted great. You can tell they’re house made. I was confused about the ice berg lettuce, ORIGINALLY thought it was just for decoration and felt wasteful. But my cousin informed me that you wrap the spring rolls in lettuce for an extra crunch! While good, it was pricey for what you get.
The Peach Shrimp Baos are where it’s at. The softness and fluffiness of the Bao was life changing. The shrimp was hand breaded and reminded me of tempura style. Very delicious, can’t recommend these enough. Honestly, if I ever go back, I will just order different types of Bao because they are phenomenal and I may never find Bao this fresh ever again.

I’m also obsessed with the decor and the harmony of how the staff worked. All the bar tenders are extremely knowledgeable and the man that helped me pay my tab at the end was extremely friendly. This place is stacked with staff and they worked in a busy but methodical harmony.

One big annoyance was an auto-gratuity of 18% ($7). I was a solo diner seated at the bar (that didn't order alcohol)... I also didn’t see this mentioned anywhere on the website or menu.

I will still highly, highly recommend this unique establishment. When a beautiful place with great staff can do phenomenal drinks AND food… you know you found something truly special.

I visited here in December 2025 with my brother and his wife, we didn’t have reservations, but was able to walk in. We were seated at the bar close to the DJ, which is really convenient. There was a coat rack to hang your jackets, if needed.

The waiters, waitresses and bartenders were really pleasant. We ordered the different baos, which I didn’t get pictures of all. I was impressed with it as I didn’t have them in a very long time. The shrimp was the best for me, but we also got the chicken and pork. We also ordered the baiju barbie, which was really tasty. The coconut tequila was a hit with us, we ordered several of these so I would recommend if you like something a little sweet, but reminds you of a piña colada without dairy.

During the evening while we were there, they possibly had a huge reservation that was made or maybe just what they typically do if it’s a busy night. While we were seated at the bar, even though we did not make reservations we were welcomed to also getting a booth if we wanted. We stayed at the bar because it was really nice though.

Overall experience, I would definitely come back considering it was a really good highlight to end my trip.

Update: Still one of the best spots in Edmonton but what does a girl have to do for you to bring back the Goji Girl and Ha Long Bay cocktails?? For the love of god, please bring those back.

Probably my favourite spot in Edmonton. It's small - but the vibe is on point. Their cocktails are some of the best in the city and don't sleep on the pork bao buns. Sweet little patio set up in the summer too.

I really hope they bring back some of the classics — the fried chicken wings used to be incredible, and I still miss the fried chicken cutlet and the steak fried rice. Those dishes were seriously next level and OG.

The drinks are always great, and I especially loved the two teapot selections back in the day — such a fun and unique touch.

The music and overall vibe are always on point, which is why we keep coming back. One small suggestion: it would be amazing if they opened up online reservations for parties smaller than six, since it would make it much easier to plan casual visits.

Still a favourite for the atmosphere, drinks, and memories — hoping those iconic dishes return!

Alex curated an entire vibe that went up and beyond. He described every beverage perfectly and each drink matched the feelings he created. The musical back drop with the deep flavours complimented his personality. The entire picture he created was utter art. Whoever gave him full creative freedom needs a raise. Thank you Alex.
