I know they were about to shut down in 45 minutes- but having a microwaved cooked lemon chicken - dry and over chewy with Hair found in it, and a burnt green onion cake was a big disappointment- and we where the only ones

I'm so glad that I tried this place out, it's so good!. The buns are "footlong style" and super soft . The sub was made seemingly before I could blink. A very Quick& high quality sub!

I went to Vietnam this summer and was craving bahn Mi as it was the first time I ever tried it. This place is the closest I could find to the authentic ones I had last summer. So tasty and light. The beef satay sub is my go to. Very cheap and feel good after you eat :)

Amazing !!! Good price and amount of meat is just right!

This has to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in the city. The people who work there are incredible. Pretty sure they own the place. Delicious food, incredible service, and the sandwiches. Good lord, what delightfully crisp bread. This is our go-to place, and I would hate to even try anywhere else for fear of disappointment.

Parking: So many spots I thought I was in a Zellers lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is an upstairs, but you're able to eat downstairs as well.

Guy at the front needs to stay off the phone. I ordered 3 subs no cilantro and 2 of them with different combos (salad roll and spring roll combos). He even repeated the order back. All came with cilantro. Spring rolls were missing.Subs pretty good still.

Good prices but the nem and spring rolls are never there or ready to go when I’m there. The guy with the two sleeves I’ve noticed skimps on the butter but the other employees are really generous. I recommend the #4 or the xiu mai sub

I go here pretty often, food is good and well priced. Just be careful as I have gotten food poisoning here not sure how sanitary the facility might be.

This was my first time here and the food was good and even though I ordered a ton of food they had it all ready to go within ten minutes which was amazing for me. Once we got home and ate the food was amazing ?

A CHEAP IMITATION.literallyThe original Nhon Hoa Sandwich Bar on Whyte Ave is far superior. This store has head cheese that is 95% gelatin. Literally 1 single flake of pig skin in each slice. If you ask for a spicy sandwich, he will put 1 jalapeno slice on each end, if you ask for it extra spicy he puts 0. Use the Sriracha at the table, it needs flavourThe only thing these con artists make that can actually compete with the REAL Nhon Hoa Sandwich Bar, is their wonton soup, somehow it's super delicious

I learned about this restaurant days ago because I visited its Chinatown location. Basically pricing at this location is a bit weird. Satay Beef costs $8 in cash at Chinatown location, but $9 + GST at this location~~~sometimes life doesn't give us a lot of options, Chinatown has horrible service, and here has "unreasonable" pricing~~~

So fresh and delicious, I had the cold cut Vietnamese sub and made it a combo by adding salad rolls and a pop. Service was nice as well, I am very glad I stopped by and will again for sure ?

Really disappointing broth and type of meat they used. For reference, we ordered bun bo hue. They didn’t give any citrus that usually comes with, no bean spouts either, broth was bland, and overall just disappointing.Grilled chicken salad rolls were ok, you can tell their peanut sauce was store bought. I guess for the price it isn’t bad, but it’s underwhelming.

Tried this place with some friends for takeout over the weekend and was really disappointed. First off we received the wrong type of salad rolls (sadly we’d ordered two orders of these). The satay beef was quite fatty and of poor quality. They also forgot the sauce and provided a very small amount with my rice dish. The bang mi sandwich bread was dry. The only items that were enjoyable were the spring rolls and green onion cakes. Feel like we need to make it up to our friends now for making such a poor restaurant choice.

I've eaten tons of asain cuisine and this was pretty disappointing to say the least. Ordered a handful of different entries for supper including 2 different subs. Not sure if there's some fake reviews on here or if inflation got the best of this place, but our subs didn't look like the couple pictured. Barely any veggies with rice/noodle meals and very poor meat quality and flavor. Even the rice they used wasn't great. I'll give them two stars because the spring rolls and green onion cakes weren't the worst I've had. I wouldn't even give this place a second chance, there's so many better places in town.
