As always, we love all of Daniel Costa’s restaurants, and Bar Henry is no exception. We’re probably here at least once a month—sometimes even twice or three times. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are consistently excellent.
That said, we were really sad to hear they’re no longer open on Mondays and Tuesdays. As a tenant in the Stantec building, we’re also very disappointed that lunch service is no longer offered. We’re tired of the sad salads and meals from Loblaw, and walking all the way to Sunterra just isn’t the same.
If Bar Henry ever decided to bring back some kind of “lunch-to-go” service—like Va, fresh salads, pastries, or something grab-and-go (even just coffee!)—I can imagine it being very well received by all the offices upstairs (myself included!). We especially miss the real coffee you used to offer.
Please don’t ever change the amazing evening service though—Bar Henry at night is always such a treat.
And we missed Tristan!!!!!!!

I do not give out 5 stars across the board often . . . but this place more than deserves. Arguably one of the best spots in the city, this venue offers incredible small bites, expertly crafted cocktails, and service that’s truly top-notch. The ambiance is intimate and moody, yet perfectly lit—elegant without being stuffy, and exudes a cozy, chic, and effortlessly stylish vibe.
The small plates are flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. While the prices may seem steep at first glance, the quality and value are undeniable. This was my fourth visit, each time with a different guest, and I’ll happily keep coming back time and time again.

Vibe at night was absolutely incredible, and manages to remove all the bustle from the busier area of downtown the minute you step in. Food and drinks are priced reasonably for the quality, and service is top-notch. Definitely worth a try, and the spritz it’s an absolute must.

The best service with the best food ! The food is amazing, every dish was perfect. Definitely want to go back as soon as possible. Tristan was very knowledgeable about the wine and food, especially about what pairs well together. He made our night. A new favourite place that we can’t wait to visit again!

Delicious food, excellent service, cool atmosphere. Really liked how they spaced out serving the dishes my friend and I ordered. Didn't feel rushed at all, felt we could take our time to catch up and chat. On the pricer side, so more for special occasions, but well worth it for the quality.
