Absolutely delicious! BBQ KING CITY is a hidden gem in Edmonton. The meats are always tender and flavorful, especially the marinated squid and BBQ duck—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Every time I visit, the food is consistently great:) Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Chinese BBQ!

Our go-to place for Asian cooked meats. We love the roast pork, bbq pork, roast duck, pork sausage and Hainanese chicken. You can’t go wrong with any of those. They always make it perfectly so that it’s crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavour. And the service is always so wonderful, nicest folks around! Our family will be coming back here for as long as they’re around :)

This place is a hole in the wall and easy to miss. The pork was delicious and the duck was pretty good too (bones may bother some). The lunch special is a great deal. You get tons of food for the money.

They use to be a decent bbq meat shop, but now under new ownership, the roast pork lacks flavor and is really dry/overcooked. The bbq duck looks ok, but also lacks flavor compared to other bbq shops a few steps further down the street.overall very bland taste and not worth the price. Be careful not to be shorted on your weighted order when they chop the pieces for ya, you can not see your order bring processed, owner known to shortchange your order behind your back !!!!

Ive been at this shop from literally childhood to adulthood. Loveliest people, always amazing food, I remember once being short a few dimes and they let me have it anyways. Always a personal favourite!!

Imagine this. It’s lunch break and it’s time to grub a dub dub. From a recomendedariation of a friend you go to the place and get the most scrumptious 11 dollar meal of your life. If birds can fly why didn’t dolphins develop opposing thumbs? That’s the question you should ask yourself everyday before you go out to eat this scrumpty dumpty meal.

I got roast pork lunch box. It was all fat, each peice was just fat and a sliver of meat. There wasnt even any crispy skin to make up for it. Never buying from here again.

I'd advice to let them show you what's in the box before paying for it. Good chance it's just garbage

The meat from here is high quality, delicious and very cheap to purchase. I honestly can't recommend them enough.

Definitely worth the visit, they are cash only though so keep that in mind.
