WARNING FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE‼️⚠️ I had very disappointing experience at the BarBurrito location on the University of Alberta campus. I was on a tight schedule and needed to get to an important seminar I was instructing, so I proactively placed a mobile order before arriving expecting it to be the fastest option. Instead, I waited about 25 minutes while at least seven customers who ordered in person after my order were served ahead of me.
Not only did this defeat the purpose of mobile ordering, it also showed a lack of basic service awareness. No one acknowledged the delay, there was no apology, no accountability, and I was left trying to figure out how an online order could take so long while walk in orders were being completed immediately.
This kind of service creates frustration for customers who rely on mobile ordering to save time, especially on a busy campus. I hope management addresses this because it has a real impact on the trust and convenience that the ordering system is supposed to offer.
Even the owners response to this review completely lacks any clear, direct statement of responsibility or even and apology that defines true accountability. No attempt to address the employees or make amends in any way was taken. Poor leadership may be a contributing factor at play.

Food is solid. I typically get the bowl and it’s just great value and great tasting and perfect on a student budget.
Food is so good . The girl with mask has made my food few times and every single time her service has been excellent. She is always friendly and recommends the best sauces with my meat. Which makes it taste even better
