Our family normally makes our own Wiener schnitzel at Christmas, but since my wife and I came earlier this year we did the next best thing. The Bauernschmaus rarely disappoints and the food this visit was excellent. The schnitzel was moist and delicious and the server was friendly and efficient. We’d recommend this place to anyone wanting Austrian cuisine.

Typed in Google, Best German Food in Edmonton. And this place was top of the list. So off we go and was not disappointed at all. Awesome place Awesome food. Took a friend (German born and raised) there along with my wife. Food was hot, well prepared and presented. And according to my German buddy, Tasted just like home…

This place is hands down one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in Edmonton . Everything is made to order fresh when you order so nothing is sitting under hot plates.
The owners are the greatest and frequently come out and chat to the customers which is so great and shows they care about all their customers new and returning.
Never had a bad experience and can always count on great food and great service.
They also have a great patio for hot days...
