This hidden gem is a beautiful place to experience authentic Ethiopia the owner doesn't forget a face she greeted me and remember me from a year ago and a friend I first came to her restaurant with 10 years ago!! One must experience the flavors of authentic Ethiopian cuisine!!

First Ethiopian spot I’ve gone to in the city. Great portion size and very balanced meal. Food came quick and the lady who runs this restaurant is very sweet. She came by and served extra lentils. Excellent place to dine in with a smaller group. The art is also very beautiful!

Ordered the Wish Meal for takeout that the menu said would feed 2-3 people and it didn’t lie! Came with two meat dishes plus injera and a third dish with vegetables and beans, also with injera. Everything was well spiced and delicious, plus it was ready very quickly in under 15 minutes. Wonderful spot for Ethiopian food!

they threw a pack of 2x spicy flavour buldak very aggressively at me and said, "BETE THE BEST MUSIC" but the buldak was good. the drive through was bad. they put broccoli under my bike tires then said to just eat that if i wasn't happy.

Bete is my go to restaurant! I like eating at home, but have gone there on my birthday (and other times) for the last 5 years. I love it. Jamila makes you feel at home! I’ll be there again next Wednesday… got that Jamila!

What a fantastic find. The host/owner/chef was welcoming and helpful. The food was fresh and perfectly spiced. Not too much heat. The perfect balance of spice, heat, and acid. The injera was fresh and hot. Soft and a lovely foil for the amazing meal.
I also had an amazing cup of coffee she had roasted herself and freshly brewed. She brought out a basket of freshly roasted beans for us to smell. Exquisite.
I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely restaurant! Staff are attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious. Large shareable portions, fresh ingredients, tender meat. Had a great experience!

Man, if u like Ethiopian food, this is the place to go, hands down. Sister jamila was serving us, and she is awesome. She even helped us with our baby here and there. Such an amazing soul. May Allah bless her.
