I visited this restaurant around 8 PM last Thursday(sep 4) . I ordered their signature dish, the squid ink pasta, but to my surprise, the noodles were undercooked — which is unacceptable for a dish they promote as their specialty.
Worse still, I didn’t even get a chance to bring it up with the staff. Not once did any server come by to check how the food was or ask if everything was okay.
In the end, I had to ask for a takeaway box and re-cook the pasta myself at home. Very disappointing experience overall.

We’ve never had a bad experience at Bianco—it’s our go-to spot for date night. This time, we booked for our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint.
The service was excellent as always. We usually order the cherry bourbon sour, but decided to branch out: my partner tried the Howard St. Smoke Show and loved the smooth, well-balanced flavor. I went with a blanco tequila cocktail with coconut—on the sweeter side, but still delicious.
We started with the carpaccio, which was fantastic. The combination of beef, Parmesan, capers, and arugula was fresh and perfectly balanced. For mains, we had the tagliatelle and the campanelle aragosta. Both dishes arrived hot and were cooked to perfection. Our server recommended a glass of Pinot Noir to pair, which was spot-on.
We skipped dessert but couldn’t resist finishing with their espresso martini—an excellent choice.
10/10 would recommend. Big kudos to the staff—you can really tell they work seamlessly as a team. The only small note: we’d love to see the TVs kept off, as they take away slightly from the otherwise beautiful ambiance.

One of my top 5 worst experiences in years of dining out. Started out well, prompt greeting at the door, smiles all around, great greeting by our server, prompt delivery of drinks then it went down hill fast. Appetizers arrived no side plates no napkins no cutlery. Tables after us were seeing our server and they were enjoying great service. 15 minutes after our 1st drinks were empty and still no server. At this point it was time to leave, we were out for a birthday celebration and this was just getting worse. Felt like there was profiling going on, we were not business professionals and with my cowboy look perhaps we were not the target demographic. Will definitely avoid Bianco for all future visits and will avoid taking any of my business meetings there.
This will be a story told over drinks with my friends and business associates for many weeks.
Wish your business luck but you do need to take a step back and refocus on the guest experience.
We came in on a weekend at 11:45am the doors were locked (they were suppose to open at 11am) but they saw us and promptly unlocked the doors.
The waitress was pretty bleh...felt like we were in her way.
As for the food we got the octopus appetizer which for the taste was good but at $27 and the amount of pieces you get was a bit steep. The carbonara was a bit bland but the pasta quality was good as it was made in house.
Heads up we didn't see any accessible ramp as we had to carry our strollerup the steps...

Absolutely Bianco offers a warm and inviting Italian dining experience. The atmosphere is industrial chic yet comfortable with wood and brick accents. The pasta dishes are perfectly al dente with rich, flavorful sauces, and the pizzas come with a crispy crust and fresh toppings. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring each course arrives at the right pace. I enjoyed a dinner with friends…and we all agreed that this spot delivers an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of Edmonton. Highly recommend for a memorable evening.loved this place…the pasta was delicious, the service attentive, and the ambiance welcoming. Highly recommend for an enjoyable dinner.

We were disappointed from our last visit. We’ve been to Bianco a few times, but our recent visit was not a good experience.
Starting off with the server and the way he was acting, and kept making weird comments.
My biggest issue is the fact that he didn’t ask for allergies, and my fiancée ordered an espresso martini, which usually does not contain nuts, but I guess Bianco’s does. She is allergic to nuts and had an allergic reaction. This should be listed on their menu or at least the waiter should point that out and it seems unprofessional to me. He made another weird comment “clever way to get a new drink” after we had accidentally spilt a full drink on the table. Luckily there was another waitress that saw and cleaned it up immediately and offered us a free new drink (which we did not ask for). So we were unsure why our waiter felt the need to make us feel bad. I might think twice before going back there again.

If you’re in Edmonton, Bianco should be at the top of your list to try. Wednesday nights, they serve cheese wheel pasta by the table, which is not only fun to watch but also tastes fabulous. The portions are sizeable, with other pasta and muscles that really sealed the deal. A huge thank you to Ahmed, Teresa, and Maria for a great evening! I’m excited to check out Nero next time we’re back in Edmonton!

Went here for lunch and both the service and food were excellent, there was a slight miscommunication with our order but Sena our server went out of her way to make up for it. The carbonara and lemon tagliatelle are delicious and the gelato is a sleeper hit.

Our server John was amazing 👏 he gave us great recommendations. The food I can't start ....so flavorful and the drinks were incredible. They made me a pitcher of sangria that was not even on the menu. It was delicious! The appetizers were out of control. We had the antipasto for 3-4 people. And beef carpaccio was phenomenal. Pasta dishes were incredible. This restaurant is a must try. We loved every minute here. Come on down to Biancos!!! You will love it 😺
