This is the best sandwich shop in Edmonton, hands down! The menu is top notch and you haven't lived until you've had their homemade kettle chips. Fast food has NOTHING on this place. Fresh ingredients? Yes. Good portion size? Yes. Delicious? Duh! This restaurant deserves ALL of the business!! Go and find out for yourself! Be sure to try their daily soup specials and treat yourself to a slice of freshly made pie for dessert (if you have enough room left 😋). Because the restaurant is busy (and rightly so), consider ordering online and pick up at the counter if you are short on time.
Always the best taste and quality sandwiches everytime! Whether it's breakfast or lunch, Big Daddy's sandwich will satisfy your hunger!
Thank you Kuya Rafael for the Ham & Egg sandwich!
Never fails this is always a great place to eat.
Great food, a must try if you're in the area.
Tina of bacon on their sandwiches !
Delicious sandwiches, lots of meat. The kettle chips are also yummy.
Always good food
Within 10 minutes of ordering, I had a FANTASTIC Ruben sandwich with a great coleslaw. Soft, properly toasted bread and sauerkraut made it worth ordering again and again.
Gluten free wrap, wrap was in fragments and taste like shoe lace. I could tell it would have been a good wrap otherwise. There are so many gluten free wraps that don’t suck now.
Great place to grab lunch, portions are massive!

First things first! No mincing words here; the food was absolutely *amazing*. I ordered the Dirty Bird which was a triple decker grilled cheese sandwich with buffalo chicken. It positively hit the spot for $15. Their onion rings were soft yet just the right amount of crispy with plenty of flavour. Terrific side to order.
It was the perfect place to come to and wait for my windshield to get replaced.
And finally, the customer service. Holy smokes was it great. Friendly staff that come around while you’re enjoying your meal to check up on you. “How’s the food?” “Need another napkin?” “Thank you! Enjoy your meal.” I’m paraphrasing here but a lot of smaller dining businesses could learn a thing or two from Big Daddy’s. They didn’t have to try hard.
Just the simplest thing like checking on your diners once in a while goes a long way to a great experience. They make you feel comfortable and welcome here.
If I’m on the west side of Edmonton again, I’ll be coming back here. And you should too.
Big Daddy’s knows what they want to be, and they share it with everyone that walks in. Thank you!
This place is awesome, great food.
i've been coming to this restaurant for many years and I've always been satisfied until today. I'm not sure what happened to the prices, but I ordered a BLT Sandwich combo with fries and a gravy and it was over $24. No BLT sandwich combo is worth that amount!! and I only got a handful of fries with the combo and the bacon was burnt and was in such little pieces that all the bacon fell out of the sandwich with every bite.
Yikes. I know both bun and beef start with the letter B, but that's where the similarities to a beef dip end with the sandwich 🥪 got here.$23 for a couple thin slices of beef, fries so over salted they burned my tongue off.
You won’t be disappointed. Excellent sandwiches.
