Excellent pizza, I’ve been to the Dave portnoys top place in New York, johns on bleaker, and this place competes. On the one bite score range I’d give it an 8.4, the sauce could have a bit more flavour but that’s about it.

Girlfriend was craving pizza last night and we wanted to try something new so did some googling for the best pizza in town, and found Birch and Bear at the top of a few Reddit posts and decided to give it a shot.

BEST PIE IN EDMONTON. Possibly the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. Crisp pepperoni, firm undercarriage, plenty of cheese but not at all greasy. Chefs kiss.

Pizza is the best in the city. I’m from Chicago and travel to New York for work all the time.Sometimes I think the pie could cook for another 30-60 seconds to make the crust slightly crispier but even if it comes out slightly chewier, I’d pick this spot over any other.
