Excellent service, skilled bartender. Will be back.
We just finished our visit at Birdog, where we had amazing service, amazing food and experienced an amazing atmosphere for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Our server went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. From the appetizers to dessert every plate was beautiful! The bartenders made every drink with an extra touch of garnish, that showed their passion. I highly suggest Birdog for your next date night, the deviled eggs and meat and cheese are the perfect appetizers...read full review
'Hostess' looked at us when we walked in and continued to look at her computer. Walked away, so we followed assuming she was seating us. She wasn't. We took our own seat wherever she stopped. Took half an hour for our drinks and that was after waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Ordered 2 starters, perogies and wings. BIRDOG offers phenomenal service and a cool vibe. The bartender is professional and creates amazing drinks. The location and furnishings are top-notch. The food has improved over time, featuring amazing appy ribs and an excellent juicy Lucy. Recent visits showcased a lively Saturday night atmosphere, with delicious sangrias and a well-liked avocado risotto. The food is very good, with mussels and carpacio recommended as starters, and the lobster ravioli praised as especially delicious. However, some dishes have received mixed reviews; the burger was noted as pretty dry, but the generous portion allowed guests to take leftovers home, adding value. The rigatoni pasta was a disappointment, being too spicy even for spice lovers, which raised concerns since it is the only pasta option on the menu. While the salmon was enjoyed by some, others found it overcooked and not fresh. The atmosphere is highly praised, especially on warm summer days, with many enjoying the lively, cozy environment, perfect for relaxing after shows or just spending Saturday nights with appetizers, cocktails, and good company. Overall, BIRDOG remains an establishment worthy of a high rating for its service, drinks, and atmosphere, with plans for a return visit on a busier evening.
