BIRDOG offers phenomenal service and a cool vibe. The bartender is professional and creates amazing drinks. The location and furnishings are top-notch. The food has improved over time, featuring amazing appy ribs and an excellent juicy Lucy. Recent visits showcased a nice vibe for a Saturday night, with delicious sangrias and a well-liked avocado risotto. However, some dishes have received mixed reviews; the burger was noted as pretty dry, but the generous portion allowed guests to take leftovers home, adding value. The rigatoni pasta was a disappointment, being too spicy even for spice lovers, which raised concerns since it is the only pasta option on the menu. While the salmon was enjoyed by some, others found it overcooked and not fresh. Overall, BIRDOG remains an establishment worthy of a high rating for its service, drinks, and atmosphere, with plans for a return visit on a busier evening.
