Adam has been our server at another restaurant many times he has always been so pleasant and engaging. We would consider ourselves his regulars. When we found out he was working at the "Black Pearl" it was a no brainer where I wanted to celebrate my birthday.Food & cocktails were AMAZING!! Service always INCREDIBLE!!! Got the kings platter and was a bit underwhelmed by food. I did not leave saying "that was amazing food!" I did enjoy the mussles and the ink risotto but overall underwhelmed. Service was not bad or great, however there was a large party elsewhere that may have impacted it.

We went for happy hour. We had the oysters, calamari and lobster Mac and cheese. The food was amazing. Thank you Wesley for making the best dirty martinis. An thank you Vanessa for the best service. They made our experience there so good. We will definitely be back.

Food has always been great, alth9ugh not as great as when they first opened years ago on Jasper Ave, but still delicious. Our waiter was awesome, knowledgeable, professional and relaxed, not obnoxious and in our face like so many are today. This is still one of my fave places, even with all the changes that come with such growth and popularity.

It was painfull to spend so much money on disappointing food. Wont go again and felt bad inviting 2 friends to come with me. We ordered lobster ravioli, cevechi salad, calamari fried, calamari in coconut sauce another salad. All extremely disappointing. The atmosphere is more of a bar scene. I was really hoping the food would had been delicious.We may have just ordered the wrong menu items.
