I give them 10 stars for all of the categories if I could ! Always a good time always passionate wonderful staff and Matty always with a new drink recommendation , Lisa with her punkrock mumma style cookies and cuddles are the world's best servers !! Also that's not to mention the chef that works there is amazing and non-stop that boy can bust his ass best pub food I've had in awhile. The aves lucky to have such a place get your butts down there and check out...
BLAKBAR is straight-up iconic in the Edmonton scene. Whether you’re there for drinks, music, or just the vibe, it never disappoints. The atmosphere is cozy but alive, the staff actually care, and the crowd always feels like a mix of regulars and people just discovering how good this place is. It’s one of those spots that really feels like Edmonton—no copy-paste bar energy, just authentic, local, and memorable. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.
Bit of an unorthodox review, but my new apartment only accepts loonies for the wash and all I had were toonies. The barkeep let me make an exchange (this was a little after midnight, so while there were other patrons, I wasn't putting anyone else out).
It's been a while (1+ year, my last apartment was further) since I ate here, but I recall the service being friendly last time as well, so here we are with this review. Thank you!
