Block 1912 is our absolute favourite café. You come for the food and drinks, but you stay for the cozy ambiance, the people-watching, and the irresistible in-house desserts. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. I can never decide on a favourite comfort dish - the butter chicken wrap and the turkey apple brie sandwich are tied, though some days the soup steals the show. There’s also a charming little lending library, but the real gem is discovering the handwritten notes hidden throughout the café, especially the drawer on the table between the big yellow chairs. Years of wonderful little treasures tucked away.

nice spot to relax with a date, with friends or even if you need a quiet place to catch up on some schooling and reading, great open atmosphere, the prices are a little high imo, we had the strawberry panna cotta, oreo cheese cake and the crème brûlée, the panna cotta seemed like it was sitting for a bit, the strawberry topping was very rubbery and the panna cotta itself was a little stiff and not smooth, the crème brûlée was decent it wasn’t the best we had and the oreo cheese cake was pretty good, maybe they just had an off day, all in all we thought it wasn’t worth the price they charged, but we might be back to try the drinks and coffee later on to give it another try

its a classic, if you’re ever meeting a friend or having a little business meeting or something, this is my go to. the drinks are pretty expensive, but they make up for it in great atmosphere and high quality drinks and desserts. in the summertime, they open the front garage door to make it all open and it’s great vibes. until next time block 1912, until next time.

Literally big scam. Tim horton coffee is way better
Very very over priced got black coffe, cappuccino and ice coffe ended up paying 30$ in an old mug that is full of stain and ice coffe served in plastic cup. Black coffe was very week or may be old.

My Aunt and I had drinks and desserts and overall we thought the food was delicious and the large coffees were indeed large! While the apple cherry crisp tasted good, the portion was a bit small for my liking. On the other hand, the moist chocolate cake was so big my Aunt had to share it with me! The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing with jazz music and a low hum of people talking and enjoying the eclectic building.
