While the food was simple and enjoyable, it could have been enhanced. The pricing seemed a bit higher compared to the restaurant’s facilities. We (party of 6) visited Blue Chair on Father's Day for Brunch. We have previously had great food and service, but it had been awhile since our last visit.
To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. It took 15 minutes to get drinks/coffee when we arrived. Once we ordered food, it took 45 minutes for the food to come out - with no updates from our server about the delay. During that time, there were no check ins with the table, and we had to flag down another server to get water and coffee refills.
Four of us had bennys, while the other two had the traditional. There were issues with all 6 plates, but we were so hungry we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for them to fix it so we ate it. Two of the bennys asked for the toast to be toasted twice - instead, it was soggy. The potatoes on all 6 plates were half-raw, half-cooked. And all 6 plates were room-temperature at best.
I truly hope this was a one-off, but the restaurant was not that busy when we were in there, so I can't even excuse the lack of service or delay in food on it being busy.
ETA: My MIL tried to call to provide feedback, but the lady who answered would not let her talk to the manager.

Had a nice time at Blue Chair for breakfast with the family. Food was very good we got the traditional breakfast, kids meal was a great portion size & the banana bread French toast was yummy. Service was great & the grapefruit mimosa was very refreshing.
