I went in and asked for a recommendation to which the owner and son were very helpful and recommended a combination plate to try a few things. They also advised it contained their famous ginger beef. The service was so nice, the lady even brought the food out to us when it was ready. All round great experience ??The food is delicious. The chicken fried rice and the ginger beef was a standout.
Great value and nice portions for overall tasty dishes! Sweet & Sour Pork and Egg Fried Rice are highlights! Very good Ginger Chicken and great fresh veggies for our Chow Mein dishes!Wonderful service by new owner Kelly and staff! Highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

We haven’t ordered here in years, but I we recently ordered takeout the last 3 weeks and it was delicious each time. They give great portions, and the lady working is so sweet. Way better under the new management

We had delivery and it was great. The ginger beef had a nice crisp on the outside. The battered shrimp were nice...not a big ball of batter. Vegetables cooked well also.
Tried their Onion cake and Shrimp fried rice for the first time. Both are amazing and I'll def come back only for those two. I personally didn't like their Hot and sour soup but it's my preference thing. I hear it's under a new management and they seem to be doing great with the revamping :)

Hands down 360 degree turn around. I know my chinese/asian food so let’s start there. Excellent neighbourhood chinese restaurant. New ownership have turned over a new leaf. They are cooking to impress. My dish of comparison is the beef and broccoli with black bean sauce. Hands down the best fromVancouver to LA. I also ordered mushroom fried rice and chicken chow mien, two dishes you can compare across any westernized chinese restaurant. They delivered both on price and taste point. They are way better than Good Buddy south (tasteless) and pretentious places like the Golden Rice Bowl. This one is a sleeping giant ready to be recognized for the quality and good tastes they are creating. Good value!

The new owners really made the place lovely inside and we are always warmly greeted. So far we have only ordered one item for takeout but we are absolutely addicted to their green onion cakes... we always order four if not five to go and they're so much better than they were before. Can't wait to try other items though starting with the crispy Ginger Beef!

Hey fello South Edmontonians,Not wanting to cook tonight or want a treat for dinner?I highly recommend Blue Quill Chinese Food!My friend Carrie and her family are the new owners, taking the restaurant over (which has been around over 35 years) late last year.Our family had the crispy ginger chicken, chicken chop suey, pan-fried pork dumplings, and Shanghai noodles with their wonton soup.AMAZING quality and fabulous flavour with generous portions!The quaint but genuine restaurant is open for dine-in, take out, or delivery.Tell them “Mikey sent me”! Carrie will look after you.
