Loved my visit here, will most definitely visit again. The atmosphere is wonderful and they have all the fixings to help give you the best board gaming experience. I would recommend it if you're thinking of visiting.
Vegetarian options: Yes. Menu is small but options are available
Parking: It is somewhat difficult to find parking, especially now due to the construction. There is paid parking and a paid lot across the street.
Kid-friendliness: Yes. Board games of all ages and the atmosphere is welcoming to everyone.

One of the better boardgame cafes in the city. They have a really good collection of boardgames and staff members are really nice and helpful if you forgot how to play the game. The food is anything crazy but really good for the price and isn't a ripoff. The drinks however are really good.

This place was awesome! Came here with a group of friends and the staff was super kind. The boardgame selection is great and we played for quite a long time. Food is pretty standard but the atomsphere is great!

Great atmosphere. Bit expensive considering quantity of beverage and game per person charge.

We came on a Friday night, a group of 10, we booked a private room with a big table. We were there for 3 hours and only had 3 drinks.. and had to ask multiple times for service, people wanted drinks, I walked up to the bar and asked for someone to come take our order and they were on their phones not doing anything. Someone finally came in and took our order and didn’t come back for 15 min, I came back out and they said it will be a few minutes they don’t have glasses. Meanwhile our table is full of empty glasses. The staff was rude and couldn’t care less about their job. I’ll never go back there again.

Tiny servings, but great quality. I loved the hot apple cider. The cafe is has nice homely feel to it and it's reasonably priced to play the games in their large collection.
Parking: There is a paid parking lot just up the hill from the cafe.

Board and Brew Coffee Shop offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in a quaint corner of the city, this charming café exudes warmth and comfort from the moment you step inside. With its rustic décor and inviting ambiance, it’s the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends over a cup of freshly brewed coffee. The menu boasts a variety of coffee options, from classic espressos to indulgent lattes, each meticulously crafted to perfection. I particularly enjoyed their signature blend, which had a rich and robust flavor profile that left me craving for more. Additionally, their selection of pastries and light bites complemented the coffee perfectly, making for a satisfying snack or quick breakfast on the go.The staff at Board and Brew are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’re greeted with a warm smile and prompt service. The cozy seating arrangements and soft background music further enhance the relaxed atmosphere, making it easy to lose track of time while savoring your drink. While I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Board and Brew Coffee Shop, I deducted one star due to the limited seating capacity, which can sometimes make it challenging to find a spot during peak hours. Nonetheless, this minor inconvenience is easily overshadowed by the café’s overall charm and quality offerings. In conclusion, Board and Brew Coffee Shop is a hidden gem worth discovering for any coffee enthusiast. With its cozy ambiance, delicious brews, and attentive service, it’s the perfect destination for a caffeine fix or a quiet retreat from the outside world.

Worst service I've ever experienced. Visited on Feb 16, 2024 from 6:15pm to 7:45pm. When we got there it took a while to even be approached by staff. A server came with water and never asked if we wanted anything else, didn't explain how the board game cafe worked. We waited an additional 20 minutes after that and finally approached the service area thinking you have to order and pay there. A worker said that they will come to us and that they are very busy right now. For the duration of our time the workers were slow to provide service to anyone else present, the cafe was not even at 50% capacity and I saw workers on their phones multiple times. We grabbed a board game to play thinking this would signal that we would like service but we were never approached by staff again. Eventually, we decided to leave and find food and drinks elsewhere.I have never had service this bad. It was almost like we were invisible customers. Message to the owners: sort this issue out with your staff.
