LAURA and team really make our week! We love having a “ usual” with kind, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Our fave place to be as a couple, family and with our best friends.
Outstanding service and food every time we come, our weekly favourite if we can make it work.
A Perfect Blend of Flavor and Atmosphere From the moment we sat down, this restaurant delivered an outstanding experience. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The crispy fried bites (likely croquettes or fritters) were golden and crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and paired wonderfully with a smooth, tangy dipping sauce. The grilled meat with balsamic glaze was perfectly cooked — smoky, tender, and balanced by the slight sweetness of the reduction. Meanwhile, the pan-seared fish fillet stood out for its delicate texture and crispy skin, complemented by a drizzle of olive oil, herbs, and a fresh lemon wedge for brightness. The drink selection was just right — a refreshing beer, smooth red wine, and crisp white wine, all served in a cozy, candlelit setting that added a touch of warmth and relaxation to the meal. Every dish felt carefully crafted, the service was friendly, and the overall ambiance made it an ideal place for both casual dining and a special evening out. Would definitely come back again!
The food was tasty! The menu was diverse. Lots of choices. Wine selection was great. Service was friendly, efficient, skillful. Unfortunately, we tried to have a conversation with our dinner partners. We were practically thwarted by the noise level which was off the charts.
Well Bodega 124 has been our regular night out for quite some time, but our last experience made us think we need to look for a new restaurant. Why? We expect the very best food when we go out and it was not up to par. The atmosphere has noticeably changed. It's amazing this little gem has lasted all the construction woes. Time to move on.
i recently dined at bodega and unfortunately the experience fell short of expectations the service was not up to standard and lack the attentiveness one would hope for as far the food i ordered rack rack of lamb medium rare but it was served medium well done to well done which is simply not acceptable for a dish that caliber overall a disappointing experience that needs improvement both in service and kitchen execution Chef nishar
Service was great! Atmosphere is nice, but there is no sound-dampening so it can be quite noisy.
We really enjoyed the boar cheeks (melt in your mouth!), empanadillas, patatas bravas, and chorizo & chicken paella which were all very good!
We also had the lamb chops and a breaded pepper dish which was all more than enough to feed two adults and two teenage boys.

I have been to Bodega several times throughout the years. More recently I have been going to 124 street location and the food and service are always perfection! I bring new friends to try out Bodega and they love it!
First time here. Will definitely go back . Food was amazing. Service was excellent . We really enjoyed it
Had a great experience for our anniversary the other night. The staff were incredible; there are some people that really know hospitality well and our server was a professional. From cocktail recommendations to catching every little detail, they were the best. We opted for their seafood family style meal and 10/10 recommend. We were stuffed and it was incredible value. The construction has clearly made it difficult for people to remember them and I urge everyone to support them so we can keep them in the neighbourhood. Parking is on the street or in the back of the building. Thank you for an incredible evening.

Just a lovely birthday evening. The staff was attentive, the food was amazing as usual, and our server was excellent. I recommend their “8 for 88” deal - eight tapas dishes plus a bottle of wine. Great value. 10/10 all the way.
My wife and I have always specifically loved this location for Bodega. It's a smaller venue with more intimate vibes. The staff are incredible and extremely friendly. We would recommend this location to anyone. The food is great, the wine menu is great, and overall one of our top go-to restaurants in Edmonton. The other Bodgea locations in Edmonton are good too, but this one is our favourite.
8 for $88 Thursdays cannot be competed with! A true Gem in the neighborhood 💗

This place does everything right. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere happening but chill (with great music). But the best part is the service. Our service was fun, funny, charming, and left us with no complaints.
