Great experience! My fiancé & I celebrated our engagement here; we had a wonderful time! A 5 course meal with wine pairings. We will definitely be going back & want to thank the staff for accommodating us with a private room :)
LAURA and team really make our week! We love having a “ usual” with kind, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Our fave place to be as a couple, family and with our best friends.
Was really looking forward to trying this place for the first time. Really like the decor and staff were friendly and attentive. Food was a let down. The artichoke tapa was so salty and still some hard skins on the outside. The qroquette fish balls were cold and mushy and so salty. The scallops were room temp and 2 out of the 4 a bit undercooked. The veggie paella was dry and once again salty
Not sure if this was an off night, but I really expected more for the price and at least food to be served hot.

From the moment we sat down, this restaurant delivered an outstanding experience. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
The crispy fried bites (likely croquettes or fritters) were golden and crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and paired wonderfully with a smooth, tangy dipping sauce. The grilled meat with balsamic glaze was perfectly cooked — smoky, tender, and balanced by the slight sweetness of the reduction. Meanwhile, the pan-seared fish fillet stood out for its delicate texture and crispy skin, complemented by a drizzle of olive oil, herbs, and a fresh lemon wedge for brightness.
The drink selection was just right — a refreshing beer, smooth red wine, and crisp white wine, all served in a cozy, candlelit setting that added a touch of warmth and relaxation to the meal.
Every dish felt carefully crafted, the service was friendly, and the overall ambiance made it an ideal place for both casual dining and a special evening out.
Would definitely come back again!

Great food! Lots to share or big plates if you prefer. Lots of options for any diet - vegetarian, pescatarian, keto. Lots of delicious choices. And yummy sangria.

Outstanding service and food every time we come, our weekly favourite if we can make it work.

The food was tasty! The menu was diverse. Lots of choices. Wine selection was great. Service was friendly, efficient, skillful. Unfortunately, we tried to have a conversation with our dinner partners. We were practically thwarted by the noise level which was off the charts.
Bodega is always our go-to date night in the city! This was our 1st visit to 124 Street, but not our last!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated in this beautiful and cozy space. The food -- excellent sharing plates! We had the spicy sardine spread, calamari, and eggplant w/ bone marrow - all were fantastic. And seriously, you cannot beat the half price bottles of wine at happy hour!! Always fantastic to dine at any Bodega in Edmonton.

Well Bodega 124 has been our regular night out for quite some time, but our last experience made us think we need to look for a new restaurant. Why? We expect the very best food when we go out and it was not up to par. The atmosphere has noticeably changed. It's amazing this little gem has lasted all the construction woes. Time to move on.
Took my son out for his birthday. We were early for our reservation and they seated us right away. The service was amazing and could not have asked for a better meal. We are looking forward to our next visit

The food was so delicious and for a reasonable price! The boar cheeks and the salt cod fritters were standouts from my dinner here on Wednesday night. The service was great, and the outside patio was the perfect spot for a quiet dinner. The wine is good and as it was Wednesday we were able to get a discount on the wine which meant we could try more food! Perfect spot for a relaxed dinner. Would definitely return.
