I recently had the pleasure of dining at BODEGA Ellerslie, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff ensured that every detail of our dining experience was perfect, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely fantastic, cooked to perfection with a beautiful presentation that matched the exquisite flavours. Each dish showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients, masterfully prepared to create a memorable culinary experience. The balance of flavours and textures was impeccable, making every bite a delight. I highly recommend BODEGA Ellerslie to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The combination of great service and phenomenal food makes it a standout restaurant that I will definitely be visiting again.
Fabulous service, great food and with the happy hour prices on wine it was excellent value.
This was our first time at any of the Bodega sites and we were most impressed with the selection of tapas, the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. We will definitely be back!!
Excellent service and the kitchen was very gracious in accommodating our various dietary requirements. Thank you. :)
Outstanding as always! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new date night experience. We come to the Ellerslie location quite often and have had nothing but the best in quality and service. Already looking forward to our next visit!
I visited Bodega Ellerislie last Wednesday, I was thoroughly impressed. The ambience was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. I started with the smoked duck carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. For the main course, I had the Mussels and it did not disappoint. The taste was exceptional. The service was top-notch; our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely be returning.
Wonderful server. Guided us and gave suggestions for being first timers. Food was excellent. Was busy and noisy till closer to close. Only draw back is it difficult to have a conversation when so noisy. Great food and drinks highly recomend. .
Amazing! For a first time going, super impressed. From the very second we were seated, we were taken care of. Joanna our server derserves 10 stars for quick, helpful, and paying attention to details. The must haves definitely were the bacon wrapped dates, sweet and savory unique combination & the beef croquettes, crispy and heavenly delights. I tried their new drink which was a Portuguese liquor and lime juice. Light and refreshing left me wanting more. The service of food was super quick and the details of food presentations were appetizing. The service was great, including the water servers. I did not need to ask once. Everyone seemed to make sure every table was being served in a timely manner. The decor was absolutely interesting looking yet clean and simple. A really elegant experience. I will definitely recommend and return to experience the rest of the menu. Well done!
The food was not on par with previous 8 for 88 tapa nights. Our second course was exceedingly disappointing. The truffle fries were bland beyond imagination. We asked for an aioli dip to give them some flavor. The flat iron steak was a terribly cheap cut, grisly, exceedingly chewy, and not easy to eat. The citrus encrusted fish was overcooked, dry and over salted. It would have been nice to have a couple of fresh lemon wedges for the fish. It would have helped with the incredible dryness and the overcooked and somewhat tough texture of the fish. Fish and tough should never be in a sentence together unless you are reeling in a feisty one off your fishing line. The second course was a 1/4 for successful. Only the brussel sprouts were the level of flavor and enjoyment that they typically are. The first course crostini were fast, the piri piri prawns delicious and tender, the Spanish meatballs could use some extra bread for the delicious sauce. The suggestion of the Merlot to pair with the meal was excellent. Service was good. Not as attentive as we have had in the past, but it was a packed house. Definitely understandable. This is the first time we have felt disappointed with our tapas. We come every few months and we're surprised to have had this experience. One item not being up to the usual standard, not a big deal, two items, definitely surprising, three? Disappointing and definitely not what we have come to expect from Bodega Ellerslie. We hope it was just a one time oops. I guess we will find out next time. Prior to this experience we would definitely recommend Bodega. Give it a try. Maybe it was just an off night for them. Every other time, a solid 4/5 overall. This time, food was a 3/5. That's the part that matters the most. But again, maybe it was just an off night for the chef?
Always good, definitely the best mussels in town, one of our favorite restaurant in Edmonton!

Outstanding service and delicious food. Definitely coming back again. Greatly recommended.
Amazing food and wonderful service. Had a mother daughter dinner date and it was the perfect place for 2 hard working mamas to be treated to excellent food, service and just being able to catch up in beautiful ambiance .
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Bodega. The 8 for $88 is an awesome idea and we certainly took advantage of this option as well as ordering 4 more Tapas. There were 4 of us. Plenty enough food. We took a long time deciding, but we were not rushed in any way. Our service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely go again
This is a go to when my bestie is in town. It's a fav for the food / service / ambiance - it's a great choice! Never disappoints.
The food was exceptional. The Server was overly attentive and 'pushed' through the dining process faster than was necessary. The noise level was frankly, awful. The table of six seated right next to me were incredibly noisy and I found it very difficult to hear anything at our own table. I did appreciate the ambience and the food; but the noise level and the feeling of being pushed detracted from what should have been an amazing celebration experience.
