We loved Bodega in Calgary so when we found ourselves in Edmonton, we wanted to see how the Ellerslie resttaurant compared. One thing is for sure - they are packed and we had to make reservations in advance to get a spot days later.

Update: I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasion since my original comment and the food is still exceptional however the service today went above and beyond. Jessica, was attentive, pleasant, available despite the restaurant being completely full. Her thoughtfulness made my birthday special while respecting my desire for a subtle celebration.

For appies you must try their bone marrow and Brussels sprouts. Portions are great to share! Personally, I liked the mushroom risotto more than the paella bc after a while the paella rice starts to get cooked in the pan and becomes too burnt to be good. Good meat tho and drinks!!👌👌
