I used to think I hated bagels… turns out I just hadn’t tried Bon Ton’s bagels yet. These are on a whole different level. Now I wonder if this is what bagels are actually supposed to taste like, because I feel like I’ve been missing out all this time. The staff are always super friendly too.
Came by to pick up my order with my Dad after work, both of us running on an empty stomach, and the guy at the counter gave us two olive flutes for free! We ate them in the car before we even left the parking lot. SO GOOD!!! They are like fancy breadsticks with such a nice salty flavour from the olives.
Super glad to have a place like this here in Edmonton! 🩵

I love this bakery. I am so happy that it is my neighbor. Their country sourdough is the best! For several years my breakfast has been toasted country sourdough from Bonton. Country sourdough! I know they have other stuff and I have tired a few other things, but I am all about the country sourdough! It is so sad to eat supermarket bread when Bonton country sourdough exists in the world.
