I love Boston Pizza, I really do. That's why it hurts me to say that this location did not live up to every other Boston pizza in Edmonton. They accepted my party of twenty, but their understaffing led me to wait an entire hour just to get a beer. I ordered ordered food with the host (He was the best part of my experience, a very nice guy overall) as there were issues redeeming my myBP rewards, only to have him serve the food after it had been sitting around for half an hour, and being quite cold. Lastly but most daringly, my friends were insulted by one of their waitresses with Red hair and facial piercings, and made us share chairs or have our group split up. (They said they could accommodate my party.) Our table was neglected in general as we did not get any water pitchers, and had to wait insanely long for drinks (just soda,) and even longer for our food and beer.)
I'm sorry to say, but this Boston pizza should be written off, go to the location at millwoods or at Bulyea, they are much better,

We had a reservation for 20 people at Boston Pizza for a team dinner, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. When we arrived on time at 7:45 PM (after running through wind and rain from MacEwan University), we were told there weren’t enough chairs for us. Instead of accommodating our group as reserved, we were told to sit in separate booths, which completely defeated the purpose of a team dinner. We wanted to sit together, not isolated. To avoid conflict, some of us ended up sharing chairs, which was extremely uncomfortable. The service was appalling. We were barely acknowledged, and several of us felt we were being dismissed because we’re teenagers. No one came to take our orders or even ask for drinks, I had to go up to the servers myself. Our food didn’t arrive until 8:30. One server, when handing me my fries, said “I’m going to trust you” after I claimed my order, an unnecessary and rude comment (she had red hair, face piercings and had bright, colourful eye makeup) I also received a spoon instead of a fork for pasta, which made no sense. When we asked for shareable plates, the server just ignored us. (same waitress with the red hair) We went out of our way to be on time and respectful, only to be treated with rudeness and indifference. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve had, and we were left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

Some of the staff are pleasant; some others are downright rude and confrontational. One of them will even go as far as arguing with and yelling to customers. Filed a complaint and nothing happened. The manager’s hands must be tied because of DEI directives. The location is awful: some of the drug addicts make a mess around the establishment.

I Am Very Pleased To say The Service At Boston Pizza Jasper Ave Downtown Location was Absolutely Very Amazing. The Staff Are Very Friendly Very Amazing!!!! In Fact, I Was Very Impressed How The Server Took The Time Getting My Order for Pasta Tuesday Dinner This Evening. In Fact I Really Love The Pastas As Well As Create Your Own Pastas They Have On The Menus. Looking Forward On Ordering Pasta Tuesday Dinner Again Next Time!!!!! The Service Was Very Amazing. Looking Forward On Coming again!!!!

They wouldn't even honor the 20 dollars i got out of the atm in their own restaurant. Great customer service. Basicly said it's not their problem and that her manager would give her a hard time if she accepted the damaged bills the atm was giving out. Feel like that's pretty poor way to treat people . I mean seriously what's this world all about is it just a total scam?
