RACISM THRIVES HERE!!
We went to Boston Pizza (Calgary Trail, 4510) last night at about 7:43 PM with my husband and our four kids (11, 9, 7, and 3). We also ran into friends with their own families, but we made it clear we were separate families and require sitting and paying separately.
The manager refused to seat us unless we paid a “compulsory tip” before service. Even after we explained we weren’t a single group and didn’t want group service, she kept refusing, spoke to us very rudely, and walked away while we stood there embarrassed for over 15 minutes. Our children were left standing in the cold. We eventually left hungry and humiliated.
What made it worse is that other non-Black families were seated and being served, and the manager’s attitude changed immediately when we walked in. It felt like racial profiling and discrimination.
Boston Pizza needs to review their CCTV from that time, investigate the manager’s conduct, and explain why a family would be denied seating unless they pay extra upfront. No one should be treated like this.

had a very disappointing experience. My husband was carrying our sleeping baby and quickly placed the car seat down so she wouldn’t wake up. Instead of understanding our situation, a waitress spoke to us in a very rude and condescending way, teaching us that we must wait to be seated. The attitude was completely unnecessary We’ve been here many times before, but this experience was very upsetting.

I had the fish tacos. I've had them at other Boston Locations And they were good like the photo on the menu , mixed greens , fish , flavorful. The ones at this location were a gob of coleslaw with a slim piece of Fried fish on top in a flour taco. Very unappetizing.

I always come here with my boyfriend when I get back from a long 21 days in camp. JEWEL has been our server since we began this tradition. After alot of fun conversations with her throughout our visits and getting to know each other, we walked in Thursday after I got off my bus. We sat down at a booth and a kind gentleman brought us our menus. Jewel came to our table with my absolute favorite tequila shot in hand without me having to ask for one or explain the shitshow of working out in the rigs. I was beyond happy and surprised that she took the time to remember us, our conversations, and why tequila is necessary when I get back. Her service is consistent with all her other tables, shes extremely easy going, friendly and gorgeous! Above and beyond service from her, I can see her succeeding in this business! I love her nails too lol

Had take out. The food was ready fast. The bag was stapled shut so I didn't check before leaving to go back to our hotel. They didn't give us any cutlery or napkins so that was a pain. Food was mediocre.

The Lady Waiting on us was very rough looking not very friendly.. 😕 we all didn't feel so great after we left . We overheard the table down from us they also didn't feel great .

Went for dinner the other night with a friend and my fiancé. I ordered the wrong appetizer for my fiancé and I meant to order pizza bread and ordered bandera bread, server came and I ordered the correct one, I was more then willing to pay for the bandera bread, the manager came out and was more then willing to remove the bandera bread from our bill. Will definitely be eating at this location in the future! Thanks
