Such a cute cafe in a very under-the-radar neighbourhood. I love it & will come here again. The customer service was great & the pastry almond tart unusual but yummy. Love the decor and the patio there.

I moved into the neighborhood about a year ago. Came in to box car cafe is now my first stop. Coffee and staff are great. Xaviour stands out, a amazing person after only a couple of time he remembers me and what I order. Very rare to find.

Feels a bit disingenuous to offer teachers free coffee when you’re actively supporting and door knocking for a government that disrespects teachers and undermines their profession.
To answer your question you commented- yes, I have visited the shop. It is lovely. However, I don’t care how cute a vibe is and how good the drinks are if the people I’m giving my hard-earned dollar to are supporting a government that disrespects me and my experiences every day, as a teacher, and makes my queer and trans loved ones lives more dangerous in Alberta. Nope. Absolutely not. I support progressive businesses in Alberta that stand up for Human rights.

this place was soo good! I had the seasonal strawberry matcha affogato and think about it all the time. I also had a breakfast sandwich which was served with potato chips on the side which was a pleasant surprise! definitely would go again!

Such a cute cafe! Absolutely delicious chai and the fall pistachio matcha is amazing too. My son is a huge fan of the chunky caboose cookie.
