We had a great time. The kitchen lost our chit for our mains however our appetizers were so delicious and our drinks it was nice to have time to digest.
We were sat in the back- very different vibe and service. Food was cold. Perhaps if you get seated in the main restaurant, it would be better but we will never be back.
A very quaint place to meet friends for dinner. Overall atmosphere was great and the venue was trendy. Nice cocktail selections.
Very nice dining experience. Warm welcome, large range of toothsome cocktails, small but well chosen wine list and a great menu. The food was beautifully done and presented. Tables are quite close together and it's a bit noisy, so probably not the best choice for a first date!
We are so happy we found The Boxer. Consistent food and friendly service with an amazing eye for detail. We came in for a quiet Sunday lunch - at a time when everyone was lining up out the door for brunches, we chose wisely! The Boxer was totally quiet, as we were the first through the door upon opening. We both had the burger, a juicy and flavourful treat packed with the surprising flavour of fresh herbs. I watched as the bar was meticulously put into even greater order than when we had walked in- each bottle evened up behind the bar, each chair a precise distance apart in front of it. We live 2 hours from this great spot, or you would definitely find me here more often.
One of the best bars in Edmonton!

The service was terrible. Took 20-30mins for the waitress to even check on us after being sat down. Took another 20mins to get a drink. I've been going to boxer for a couple years now as a great dinner spot but now it seems like they're more interested in serving shots to large groups at 7pm than actual service. If you want a decent dinner look elsewhere.
In a moment of weakness, I chose to participated in another interaction with the narcisisstic overpriced but underdelivering Edmonton food scene. I had the glazed pork belly. One strip of bacon, room temperature, dry. Oversweetened cooked cabbage (2.tb.s), pureed something, probably peas, but not clear. Several pieces of extremely sweetened peaches, and sprouts. When my plate came the unmistakable aroma of stale ashtray brought me back to my childhood, in the times when smoking inside restaurants was common. A sad turn of events placed these perfectly reasonable ingredients in an irreconcilable standoff. A display of trauma, victimized by the cooler, only to get blasted in the fire, and abandoned on the side of the counter until all warmth is lost. It takes a special kind of monster to strip bacon from its glory. I showed my respect by eating each thing separately. Do not participate in the violence, choose a different dish, or better, a different place.

Service was fantastic. Our server was very patient with us, and his timing for visiting our table was perfect. The pizza is very tasty, with a nice fluffy crust.
Best pizza I have ever had, period and it's right here at home! Excellent service as well. The old fashioneds my date and I had. Would use a cherry but that is literally the only thing missing from the visit. My compliments to the house!

We came in on a Sunday
It was a slow afternoon but the food was an absolute 10
We had the steak frites which was a bison top sirloin , it was as tender as a tenderloin
We also ordered the sable fish , the tarragon cream was extremely delicious and the fish just melted in your mouth . Americano was perfectly made and the pumpkin crème brulè was the perfect choice for dessert . Our server Dan was great !

Wonderfully fancy hidden gem 🤩 Husband and I stopped here after art walk because of their dog friendly patio and will definitely be back! A small but gourmet menu and an extensive fancy cocktail menu kept us happy for hours. Tried the “coop pie” pizza and it was incredible. Alexandra our waitress was super attentive and knowledgeable of both menus. Love to have a place like this in the city!

I really enjoyed our server, she was attentive, polite and brought a lot of positive energy. The drink that I ordered was good but quite small ($16). The food was the same, while it was tasty it was quite small for the price ($18)

The food was fantastic. We had a pizza and a bison steak. The Japanese boulevardier was absolutely amazing. The steak was fantastic. The only draw beak was the strawberry tart dessert needed a bit more pop of flavour. But still delicious either way.

Boxer has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. The cocktails are hands down the best I've had, and the food is always top notch. The atmosphere is fun but still super comfortable, and the staff are genuinely welcoming every time. I've been here a bunch of times now and it never disappoints, I'll definitely keep coming back.
