Great spot with a cozy vibe! We sat outside and had their drip coffee with cream and oat milk — really smooth and well-balanced. The brownie was rich and satisfying. Loved the atmosphere, friendly service, and the tempting selection of baked goods inside. Will definitely be back!
Great taste !! Really enjoyed popping in and had a coffee to go with it !! Thank you
The pastries were incredible and the girl working Saturday morning was so nice and welcoming!
Today i found this cool Bakery in the middle of eclectic Riverdale..
The blueberry crosissant danish was sublime. The berries were so fresh and flavorfull .. paired perfectly with vanilla bean pastry cream and super tasty pastry which was moist yet pleasingly crispy.
I have not found a better pastry ever.. I am coming back for 1 of everything!
I'm pretty picky when it comes to my bakery items .... and these guys knocked it out of the park for freshness and flavor!
It's a 45min drive for me which I will happily make on a regular basis for their goodies !
Staff is always happy and cheerful. The whole building is vibeing with positive energy when you go in and they make you feel genuinely welcome !
Definitely recommend!!!!
The premises and the surrounding neighborhood are beautiful. The whole grain sourdough was indistinguishable from a quality white bread with excellent texture; I didn't taste much of sourdough or the characteristic flavour whole wheat. (If that was a mistake by some trainee I'd like to give this place another chance.) Compared to some similar bakeries, I would also say it was about 25% overpriced even if it was a whole wheat sourdough.
The lemon poppyseed twist had fantastic texture and a delightfully appropriate level of sweetness at a very reasonable price, but I found that the flavour wasn't a highly convincing combination with this texture. Apparently it's the bestselling pastry there, so I suggest they try some kind of lemon curd millefeuille or danish and switch to an even more assertive flavour for the amount of crunch in this twist pastry - sharp cheddar, miso, sun-dried tomato with minced olive, dark chocolate, cream-based maple jam, maybe chocolate plus raspberry, many possibilities. (Yeah, I want this thing to succeed.)
Keep it up, team.
Used the coffee pass to grab a coffee at this small neighborhood spot. Self-serve creamers and milk alternative, and a few cute items for sale. Planning to come back to try the bread. Always fun to explore local places with the coffee pass.
Excellent bakery...I especially love the lemon poppyseed twists.
Unbelievable sourdough. The BUTTERS. Do yourself a favour! They're incredible. Lovely staff, some of the best pastries in the city, and one of the best locations. Great building in one of Edmonton's best neighbourhoods. Also attached to Dogpatch, an amazing pub with a great patio.
If you are new here, we are on a mission to try every bakery in the fine city of Edmonton. We have tried Bread and Butter and found their goodies to be tip top notch delish. We truly loved the seedy bread we tried. I am a sucker for them. So good. Stayed good for almost a week! We tried some baked yummies. They were also super tasty. Will be back for more.

Great people, great food!
Went here when I was visiting my Boyfriend, lovely staff and atmosphere, we had a lot of fun and the baked goods were really really nice :). 10/10 would go again and recommend to a friend.
Owners prioritize high school level drama over long time customer. A staff member you never ever interact with just needs to complain about a heart break and you will be banned despite spending money their REGULARLY and never stirring up drama just enjoying the food. I understand supporting your staff in horrible karen situations but this is a staff member who works in the back complaining cuz someone dated their ex buys food from their? Gross.
the environment and staff are so amazing,
The treats and bread are so stunning and their creativity with their features blows my mind!!!
it is such a warm, cute place.
Definitely one of the best stops for treats and bread:)
kinda disappointed with the quality as it seemed like a very upscale bakery … not sure i’ll be back
