Great vibes, great place to watch the Oilers on their huge screens. Often fun games and events going on too! Pretty fast, and lots of great beers. Have to try their fruit beers on tap as they come with fruit in them and it’s incredible!

Great place if you’re looking for a spot for good beer (they brew their own) and consistent food. Much better than a typical sports bar but nothing too fancy. Recommend!

Best hot chick sandwich I have ever had. Good priced beer and sports.
Also I just watched the bartender be sooooo nice to an elderly patron. She made that old boys day. Fantastic experience.

I've been here s few times, and they are knowledgeable and careful with gluten allergy. I'm highly sensitive and reactive and have never been sick eating here. The wings are so good - heading there tonight. I'm not a fan of the loud atmosphere, but the food is worth it.

I visited for the first time July 11, 2025. The saving grace from a much lower rated review were the staff. All but the person who I made the leap of faith was the general manager - he couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge our presence.

The food, although delicious, was served hot and plated nicely. It's the portions I take issue with - the return on value isn't there in my opinion.

There are many other options in the area to check out.

I have been going to this brewsters for 20 years. My wife and I are regulars. It was our go to place for wings and Oilers hockey. Yesterday we had a table for 4 booked to enjoy the game. It was a good table, we all had sites lines to TVs and comfortable chairs. As is the case with playoff hockey a 5th showed up. Our neighbours were happy to lend an extra chair. More the merrier is the attitude of hockey fans coming together to celebrate our team. Across the city, at multiple bars and restaurants extra people are showing up and well run establishments find extra seats understanding playoff hockey means you find a way to accommodate.

Sadly this was not the case of Brewsters and their manager. He was not happy we had 5 people at a table. He instructed us to leave our table in front of everyone and sent us upstairs to be seated a picnic table bench. I question the logic of having uncomfortable seating in a restaurant. A picnic table bench is very uncomfortable. My back and neck still hurt. I also question the logic of reducing a patrons experience over one chair. The upstairs at brewsters is a lower quality experience. The atmosphere and TV angles are not as good as downstairs. The seating is not comfortable.

If we look at the consequences of that managers decision they are:

1. Same manager asked if we wanted to reserve a table for Thursday. Normally my answer would have been yes. It was hard no.

2. As regular customers, I am less likely to return to Brewsters. There are other options in the city for wings and hockey.

Obviously I am not happy with that manager. You reduce the quality of my experience and put me in an uncomfortable seat, i generally don’t come back. That is a shame, because i like Brewsters. My wife and I use to go to the one on northside before it closed. We have enjoyed watching games at the downtown location. I can’t deal with uncomfortable seating when i go out to eat. Frankly if i had advice for you, it would be to improve the experience upstairs because it is a lower quality experience.

We like coming here for their happy hour drinks at night. On my fourth visit, we ordered food from their HH menu. I am impressed with the portions! Yum! Their white house wine is also good. We never had problem with their service. Always speedy!

Food was a bit fancy but decent. Service was better than you would find in a lot of places. Menu prices are a bit better than you would expect.

Brewsters has always been a stop for me in Edmonton. It has gone a little downhill since I first came here (back when it was still Oliver Square)
Hammerhead Red Ale is good.
