Brewsters Brewing Company and Restaurant - Summerside

I don’t often leave out reviews but I was appalled by how terrible our service was today.

The food was great, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. We were never greeted by our server, and she didn’t check on our table even once throughout the visit. She only came around to clear the plates and drinks that were empty. The entire time we were there, we felt extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. Every time she came by our table, she looked visibly annoyed and didn’t make any effort to be friendly towards any of us.

Boneless Wings. Specifically the beer bbq ones r good. Also the tall bartender he is so funny he is a clown .

5 stars all around!! Visiting from Calgary and thanks to no parking at another restaurant, we came here and I’d make the trip again for a date night!
Emily was our server and she was beyond amazing! Suggested the Korean Tacos for myself, and sold my husband on the beef dip! (I had to remind him I was still there, that’s how in love with the meal he was!)
Great food, great place, great staff (you rock, Emily!!)

Horrible service. We were there on Oct 2, 2025 @6:30pm - 7:30pm and needless to say, we won’t be back.

It was a super nice day out so we seated ourselves on the patio. Before we could even sit down at the table, our waitress asked us for our drink order. While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I wasn’t a fan of being so rushed. We sat down and began to look over the drink menu when it started to get breezy out. I asked my boyfriend if we should move inside as it may get cold outside soon and the waitress interrupted and said “well yeah it’s gonna get cold, it’s literally fall. And Actually me and the other waitress were just arguing over who was going to serve you guys because we didn’t want you to sit outside.” Her comment took me by complete surprise and had me irritated. We moved inside and were met with a different waitress. Unfortunately, she wasn’t any better. She came up to our table and instead of saying “hi” or introducing herself, she was blunt and asked for our drink order. She came back with our drinks and asked us for our food order - keep in mind, she hadn’t actually looked at us once. I told her that we were going to order chicken wings since they had a deal on wings that night and she replied with “well yeah,” as if it was the only item on the menu. Later on in the evening, I had asked for a to-go box as I had 5-6 wings left over. Before she replied, she moved my drink glass, and looked at my plate and then agreed to get me a box. Not sure if there was a minimum number of wings you needed before you could ask for a to-go box but I thought that was crazy. I also couldn’t help but notice a bunch of the serving staff gathered by the bar just chatting.

It wasn’t until we got the bill and we were paying did she start to talk with us and tell us how “lovely” we were. As someone who has worked in the serving industry, there is zero reason to treat customers as such. Because of the service and the unprofessionalism, we won’t be back at this location.

Avoid this place for team or large group orders.

We ordered 22 beef items for a sports team at $23.99 each plus $4.99 for Caesar salad. On top of that, they added an 18% gratuity to a pickup order—something you’d normally only see for dine-in service.

This pricing and policy make it a poor choice for any team or group booking. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere more transparent and team-friendly.

When I arrived at about 4:35 today, there was only 1 vehicle within 100 yards and I could not see any lights on. I thought the restarauntvwas closed. I went in and there were 2 (appeared to be regulars) guys at the bar. I ordered onion rings. Came timely and tasty. I then ordered salt and pepper ribs. They came timely but were like shoe leather and tasted old. I told the waitress and she did not look surprised or ask anything about them. I asked if the wings would be the same and she said no. I asked about the piri piri wings and she said they were good but a bit spicer. The wings arrived timely but had no flavor just some spicyness. I see no reason to return to this restaurant.

We've been coming to Brewsters Summerside for years. Always great food and service.
Just wanted to give extra props to Veronica and Emily.
Veronica has been a familiar face for a while and definitely takes the extra moment to make our ladies night welcome.
Emily has served us a lot lately and we quite enjoy her great service and awesome personality.

One of my favourite go to places for a good beer & snack ! The beef dip (add mushrooms) is my fave, the pretzel bagel is fantastic...the pickles are an extra yummy addition! Love the wing night #hotsauce for days!

The food was delayed by almost an hour, but the manager fixed the problem. Not only did I see how much the manager cares about the restaurant, but I will also be going back because the customer service was amazing.

Today was my first visit to Brewsters even though I live just around the corner. I stopped in because Joey discontinued their butter chicken last week so I’m in search of a good alternative that’s nearby and not too spicy. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Brewsters butter chicken is very similar to Joey so now Brewster will be my Monday go-to for this dish that I love and thought I had to do without from now on. I also had their tomato soup which is the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant and could immediately tell was homemade which my server confirmed is. 👍🏻👍🏻

Speaking of which, my server was Veronica and she couldn’t be more friendly, attentive, and outgoing, making me feel like a long time regular even though this was my first visit! 🤩🤩👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks Veronica for your exceptional service and hospitality, as well as your warm, welcoming demeanor… 🥰🥰 I will be a regular here from now on and will try other menu items which I’m sure will be just as delicious and flavorful as what I had today! 🤩🤩👍🏻👍🏻

Finally, the restaurant atmosphere is very homey, cozy, clean, and comfortable, so again, great job everybody involved and keep up with the outstanding food and service! 🤩🤩

They got an extra star for removing the drink charge. Fish was not freshly prepared was over cooked (frozen fish?), beer was missing 3-4 oz, fries were frozen shoe string style.

I don’t think it is this location that is the problem. I think someone at Brewsters is patting themselves on the back as they cut cost by cutting food quality.

Restaurant and washrooms are in very good shape and clean.

Guys please have a look at all your one star reviews and do something about them. They all seem pretty legitimate. It’s Saturday night and the place is empty.

Worst service! Went there for Mother’s Day, I’d say it was 30% occupied and we waited for OVER AN HOUR for food. Had a toddler with us and it was getting hard to sit with the kid for that long. There were 2 waitresses in the whole restaurant! Wouldn’t recommend coming in you’re hungry, and only come if you have tones of patience!

Food was great, service was great, and lots of tv's to watch the game!
