I moved into the neighbourhood the beginning of this year and have religiously paid the bakery a visit multiple times a week (sometimes twice a day...).
Yes the olive bread is delectable and the ham and cheese croissant is life altering. It's actually the friendly and bright women who work the store front of the bakery that brings me back every time. It's the warm intentions that you feel within the questions you are being asked.
I'm more than positive others will share the same opinion as me.
Foods good, the team is world class
Brio is absolutely spectacular!
It’s hands down my favorite bakery. Everything is made with such care and quality, you can taste it in every bite. I highly recommend the almond croissant, the pain au chocolat, and the sourdough bread, sesame whole wheat it’s my favorite! they’re simply perfect. If you love good bread and pastries, this place is a must! ✨✨
I’ve searched high and low for a good authentic baguette in the city, and I finally found it at Brio. Far too often do I buy a baguette from a bakery only to be completely disappointed by the taste and texture. Brio’s baguette is perfect in every way. Can’t wait to try more of their bread and pastries.
Best bakery in Edmonton with the nicest staff!
Brio is great. Such delicious bread. The only disappointing thing about them is that they are only open half a week. It would be really nice if they were at least open on Sundays (or Mondays or Tuesdays). I was hoping when the business was sold they would be open more often, but this has not materialized.
My favourite local bakery! They have so many options and the staff are lovely. I tell everyone I can about Brio!
One of the best french croissant. Highly recommand. The cappucino was good.
Favourite bakery in Edmonton
I can only say I love this place. Everything is delicious. For savory dishes, my favorite is the one with pesto and cherry tomatoes. For sweet dishes, any option you choose is perfect.
Very slow service. You have to come at 9 in the morning to get some bread, because if you come at 11 you just have a leftovers

Your quest for actual real bread is over- you've found Brio, you're done. My favorite is the wholewheat sourdough- now that is BREAD, not whatever it is they sell at Safeway or Save-on.

Great quality baked goods. But the interior is just too cramped with no line up system. It gets confusing whose turn it is with everyone crowding near the doors. They should have at least 2 people at the front with one serving and the other on till. Or use a ticket system like Bon Ton Bakery. Like others have mentioned the hours are also inconvenient. I've only been able to make it in twice even though I want to try more of their products.

I've explored what Edmonton has to offer for bakeries. Brio bakery has by far been the best if you're looking for authentic sourdough bread.

I love Brio and their products. They definitely have amazing quality bread and pastries that taste incredible. However, the way they have their preorder pick-up system set up is unorganized and messy. Every time, I placed an order ahead and prepaid to be able to avoid standing in line. However, when you get there, there is no dedicated line for pickups, and when you go around the line, everyone stares daggers at you and throws passive aggressive comments. Today, when I was picking up, there was a long line, and I called to make sure about the procedure, and I was told that since I had prepaid, I could just walk in. However, when I walked in, I just had to merge with the rest of the line since it was chaotic. People behind me confronted me about skipping the line, and I had to awkwardly explain myself to them, which makes me not want to go back there again.

Busy spot! But you can still find nice moments to chill and enjoy all the deliciousness and a hot cup of something. I’m here for the London Fog and savory/savoury yummy bites!
Go, eat and drink and eat some more.
