Every time I dine here it’s a wonderful experience. Staff and service are great and I love the food.

We sat down and were quickly greeted by our server and drinks were brought out right away. Unfortunately the food took over 45 minutes for a plate of wings and 1 bowl of pasta. No effort was made to ensure the rest of the experience was improved. A drink taken off the bill would have been great - anything at all.

Food was delicious! Didn’t have to wait long for it at all! Server was so kind and helpful, he did amazing. Had blonde ish hair think his name is logan, says on the receipt

I met a friend here for lunch. Our server seemed annoyed with us or her job or the fact that it was a Monday or who knows. This is what you do, be better.
I really enjoyed my fantastic loaded burger that was cooked perfectly. The side house salad was good.
Nice restaurant with lots of natural light.

Met up with friends and spent some time catching up and had lots of food and drinks. During the course of our meal, we were asked on several occasions if we were done with our plates and then we were told to hurry as our table was reserved. At no point were we advised of this reservation? We felt rushed and we spent good money. Not cool to be rushed off!!

I placed a Skip The Dishes order to Brown’s Social House yesterday, the day we got 25 cm of snow. After 35 minutes, the app still showed it was an 87 minute wait, & there were no drivers in site picking up my food. I called Brown’s to find out my options. The girl who answered the phone was polite and said she would get her manager for me to talk to. I then heard her explaining my situation to the manger in which he started rudely talking about me and that we probably didn’t tip the Skip driver, which is why no drivers were picking up our food. He went on for about 30 seconds making rude comments while I could hear him. Once he got on the phone, he was polite, but that doesn’t dismiss what I just heard. I always tip food delivery drivers, so the reason I wasn’t getting my food wasn’t my fault; he just assumed and made accusations before even knowing. The problem was the weather and there were no drivers available. When there are so many options of restaurants, be grateful that people like me chose your restaurant to purchase from. Treat your customers better. I will not order from there again.

Tremendously appalling service ESPECIALLY if you are alone and a minority.

Be prepared to see your waiter standing off to the side on their phone with a drink in hand and the only waiter working, serving people that came in after you, sat at tables right beside you, but somehow get to leave before you… he also refused to acknowledge that I was sat there for a while. A simple check in/ nudging your colleague to check in would have gone a long way.

If I didn’t try to get someone’s attention, I’d probably still be sat there, ignored with waiters refusing to serve me… what a way to treat myself on a Saturday.

Very slow. It took almost 5 minutes before I got a menu. I ordered a social lager, and it took 15 minutes to get even though there were people that arrived after me and had their drinks before me. I am fearing how long my food will take to get here. Will update. I have only ever been to Browns in BC, so I hope the food is as good as it always has been. Edit, the gyoza was amazing, so the food is still just as good. Also, on the plus side was only about 15 minutes for the gyoza to arrive. I was a little disappointed when a 5 top who ordered after me got their food before me. The food was above the par, though. If you are OK with waiting an obscene amount of time to get amazing food, then this is the place for you. I hope it was just an off day because the food is worth the wait, but I would prefer not to, of course. The server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I would recommend this place even though the initial wait times were high.
