Buco Pizzeria & Vino Bar Windermere

2 of our dishes had raw chicken in it .actual blood on the plate . Manager came took them both back and did not charge me for one and took 10% off the bill. Did not wanted to make a scene as it was my wife's birthday . Very disappointed with the way it was handled

The food was amazing but the service was pretty terrible. We were there for a birthday and the waiter was told immediately when I got there. The service was poor and he often forgot about us and we would have to flag him down or go find him to ask to order more drinks. Also at times when we DID flag him down he only asked a couple people and would leave before the other half could order anything.. we weren't a huge group we were only 8. If there wasn't an automatic gratuity I would not have been tipping him 18% that's for sure. Also other tables around had desserts with staff singing happy birthday. We ordered a dessert (not complimentary but maybe the others were?and no singing. Not a big deal but because the rest of the service wasn't good i mentioned it. It also took over half an hour to get our bill and someone had to go find and ask him for it. Also when he brought the dessert he brought it out with no cutlery (it was a chocolate calzone) and we had to go ask for that too. And plates. We would have happily ordered more drinks also if our waiter came to our table and asked.

Everything was amazing. Great food only issue was calamari was so small I would never order it again was told it was for 2 people it was on a tiny side serving plate. But it tasted amazing a long with everything else unreal taste that was only item I had issue with . Service and overall was 5 star

I love Buco and we go there often! Unfortunately, tonight, the ambiance was off. There was very little “vibe”; usually there is fun music playing. Tonight there was nothing and it just felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. Disappointing because we brought out of town guests. Food and service remained top notch though!

The food and service were top notch, tried a number of appetizers all excellent. The pizza crust was authentic Italian- so good! Would definitely recommend the BUCO RESTAURANT to others.

The pasta here is soo good. Their drinks are good as well. I only wish they had more beef options or chicken options and not pork options for people who can’t eat pork. They have a decent selection, but it could be better. Other than that, the food is amazing, the music is really nice as well. The atmosphere is great. The food is very filling.

Had the baked rigatoni and my friend had the cannelloni, both dishes came out fast and tasted amazing! Will definitely be coming back again! The portions don’t look too large but ended up being very filling! Service was 10/10! ❤️

The food was fresh, and came out fast, however it lacked flavour. Thankfully we had the chili oil there to help with that. The service was okay. It was fine until we payed and our waiter didn’t thank us and walked away quickly without saying a word after paying. The atmosphere was fine. Nothing special. I was a bit distracted by the kitchen as it could have used better organization haha. I won’t be back as there’s better places out there.

Let’s start with why we enjoyed it… a cute atmosphere with a cute oven and lighting
The bathrooms were dirty, I tried to stalls and was grossed out.
Our server was friendly, however we ordered hot water with a lemon which took over 15mins both times. If it was a busy night, I’d understand but it was pretty quiet for a Sunday evening. She was compassionate however to a table near by who suffered a loss and offered them free dessert to take home.
The food… sub par, not worth the price.
Ricotta Gnocchi with added chicken was not good. Gnocchi had no taste and was rubbery flour with a stick to the roof of your mouth feel. The pizza was okay, the crust base was soggy and the outer crust was hard…poorly baked. The Arrachini balls were flavourless with a super garlic pesto. The lobster /salmon balls were the only flavourable thing, maybe because it tasted like canned salmon fried. I wouldn’t recommend going. Food is over priced for what you get. My husband ate only the chicken breast from the gnocchi as neither of us could stomach it.

Me and my family came here last Saturday, and we absolutely loved it! The gnocchi and arancini were delicious! The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and kind, the girl May who brought out our gnocchi was really sweet. This is definitely our favourite Italian restaurant and we will be coming back again very soon!!

Had a birthday dinner celebration with a few girlfriends. Our server was rushing us the entire evening - from wanting to take our order to giving us our bill. Food was good, a bit pricey for the portions. The sangria was delicious.
