Buffet Royale Carvery - South

Part of my childhood coming here. Hopefully we will be able to eat here again soon.

Great take out - hungry and want to save some money - order from Buffet Royale. Chinese food is great and portions are huge. If you want to splurge go for the beef rib dinner = tasty and tender - meat melts in you mouth. Home made recipe that cannot be found anywhere else.

Don't be fooled by their Anniversary Price. The Meal selection is way less than what you get in their regular price. No Shrimp, no other protein just the prime rib. With the exception of their Prime Rib thats real good the rest are OLD, dry, greasy, overheld at the warmers. Dirty plates.The Manager do not know how to deal with Customer and never checked on tables.This is a real true to life review as i am a regular Customer and visited all your Locations for over 10 times. Southside is worst both Food quality and Service.Maybe try visiting your stores and check yourself. Lowering the price will get you Customers but will lose a lot of them after promo ends due to bad experience. We are a group of 12 and all of us will never return nor recommend.Also, you are the only Restaurant that charges $1 for Hot Water?? Ridiculous. The fact that you already charged 15% autogratuity for a worst service snd cant give the water freee..

Went there with the family. Unfortunately we showed up just as they were switching from breakfast to lunch. We decided to wait for the lunch buffet and that was a good call. Food was hot and fresh, with lots of selection

Wow, such great service. The staff was quite friendly and very prompt. Also, they kept bringing out fresh food to the buffet which was great to see. Most buffets don't bring out fresh food often enough.

I am not the type to write reviews whether good or bad but I could not resist sharing my wonderful dinning experience at Buffet Royale Carvery. I have patronized BR several times over the years and on each occasion I leave satisfied thinking to myself that I must come back again soon. I took a colleague to the south side location last week and both of us were amazed at the cleanliness and attention to detail given to every aspect of the experience. In a time when we all are concerned about what we come into contact with, I can state without a doubt that I felt just as comfortable eating at Buffet Royale as I would in my own home. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the service was impeccable. Most importantly, the food was of the highest quality and I always feel that I’ve got more than my money’s worth. The ribs are top notch and the new taco bar is a great addition to the already bountiful menu. I recommend all of the Buffet Royale Carvery locations without reservation.

Great place to eat. Fresh food and clean. Service was good, and my family and I were pleased with the variety of food. We showed up at almost 6pm and they sat us right away. See you again soon!

Not bad for the price. ice cream bar and poutine bar are pretty awesome. Sausages and roast beef were good. The Chinese stuff was not bad but the mashed potatoes were... really bad.. Service was responsive and friendly though.

Great food, was in luck as they had sushi that day!
