5 out of 5 stars for Co Do Hue Express! This place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The flavors are bold, fresh, and comforting—exactly what you'd hope for in a spot specializing in Central Vietnamese dishes. Their bun bo Hue is outstanding: rich, spicy broth, tender slices of beef, and all the right herbs and garnishes. It’s easily one of the best versions in the city.
The menu has a great variety, and everything I’ve tried—from the vermicelli bowls to the spring rolls—has been delicious and made with care. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are true to their roots.
Service is quick and friendly, and even when it’s busy, they manage to keep things moving without sacrificing quality. Prices are very reasonable for the portions you get, making it a great value whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout.
It’s not a fancy spot, but the food speaks for itself. If you’re into authentic Vietnamese flavors, especially regional dishes like bun bo Hue, Co Do Hue Express is an absolute must-try. Always a satisfying experience!

We adore this kind of food and this spot. Whenever we want a hot bowl of pho this is the place we immediately think of and go to. Consistently great service, efficient service, and quality of food. The bean sprouts are always crispy! And even if something is labelled as spicy the staff are really accommodating and can usually not add the spices but still give you the same great dish. The crispy chicken wings $15.95 is a solid example of this. I love them spicy but the kids prefer them not spicy and they are still really tasty without. We are also big fans of the appetizers- you can’t go wrong with an order of green onion cakes, spring rolls, or salad rolls. Most recently we ordered the seafood wor wonton soup $19.95 and it was so filling with so much seafood and veggies. We have also quite enjoyed the beef noodle soup pho which is a nice not spicy option. Personally I love a little heat so I prefer to order Hue’s Spicy Beef & Pork Noodle Soup $16.75 Top notch though I love to order the Vermicelli bowls - the 3 Color (Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Pork and Spring Rolls) $ 18.95 is one of our favourites. Along with the 4 color (Grilled pork, spring rolls, shrimp on sugarcane & pork patty) $19.95. Can’t forget to mention my favourite beverage to order every time is a Vietnamese coffee- iced or hot both are delightful. This space is a little smaller- not the best for a big group, but we’ve always had luck finding seating. Plenty of parking the area.
