We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Cafe Bicyclette. The staff exceeded expectations from the start of our planning, throughout and the day of. Everything was organized, attentive to detail, warm, supportive and incredibly accommodating, especially for guests who have dietary considerations like allergies to gluten, dairy and/or who are vegan/vegetarian. The price point was outstanding for a wedding. We are so thrilled that we had our wedding there and would 10/10 recommend anyone to host a wedding or any event in terms of the quality of service, support, food and value. So much gratitude to Tanya, Sevy and Chef Joseph for overdelivering :)

Food was good. The beef in the Boeuf au 1000 saveurs, was pretty stringy. The flavours were good though. The rest of the meals were good.

My kids and I just moved into the neighborhood a couple of wks ago... My son and I have been excited to try out the new cafes and coffee places in the area. Today we tried café bicyclette and absolutely loved it there. You know a place is good when you immediately love it, and the staff working there just mins after walking in. The servers were super nice, kind, they had amazing friendly energy, and they we're fast. The coffee has been the best out of the cafes I have tried around here. 10 out of 10 for sure. Not to say the other places weren't good, but I enjoyed café bicyclette coffee a bit more. The menu looks beyond good! I was pleasantly surprised by the prices too. I have a feeling café bicyclette will get to know my kids, partner and myself very well 😊
I'm sure it's a great place for those who can read the menu being illiterate and having difficulties reading.two languages make it 4 times harder I was born and raised here but yes I can't even make sense of what you're trying to sell me but a great multicultural location for all to enjoy
My first time coming was just after touring La Cite Francophone for my wedding venue and we immediately fell in love with it. 1000/10 recommend the venue for any events, but it's also a beautiful spot for a date night (or date day!) The food is fabulous. I highly recommend the poutine (breakfast or regular) but you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Almost everything is gluten free too! The whole staff is bilingual and the place just oozes care for the community. I know from our wedding tasting that they work very closely with local farms and source a lot of their food locally. The staff also just clearly works together and supports and respects each other and it makes you feel like you're at home. It's such a unique dynamic. I can't wait to go back again and again!

Just enjoyed a meal at cafe bicyclette after strolling through the Strathearn Art Walk. Truly a gem. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was reasonably priced and good size. The croquet Monsieur and poutine were delicious after the long walk.

First and foremost: their poutine is the best I’ve had in the city! It’s wonderful!
It’s a beautiful cozy spot (with outdoor seating) to wind down for the afternoon!
Staff are welcoming, friendly, and chatty.
Free limited parking available by the adjacent lot (although I visited in the evening, during quiet hours)
Keep in mind: during busy hours, it might be hard to find indoor seating!

We were attending a 7pm performance at the Fringe in the Service Credit Union theatre. We arrived at the restaurant at 5pm and were promptly seated. Our drink orders were taken and delivered. We gave our food order at 5:20. At 6 the server came by and said he had made a mistake in giving our order to the kitchen. He did not tell us when we could expect our food to be delivered and we did not ask him. By 6:15we knew our time was getting short to get to the theatre and we told another server we would need to cancel. She checked with the kitchen and they said the order was up. It was delivered at 6:20 giving us about 15 minutes to eat. Our original server never came back to our table and we had to ask other servers about our order and for our bill. The food was delicious but this was our least enjoyable dining experience in Edmonton. We would have preferred to provide our feedback privately but could find no way to communicate privately.
