The server cleared the table as I approached but never wiped it down. The electric fireplace situated beside a table had trash sticking out of the panel containing the wires which had been pulled out and not repaired. The impression was of an attractive storefront but concern the about basic cleanliness of the place.

A very clean and beautiful interior for a cafe. Lots of different dessert and food options.
I got a salmon croissant which was pretty good. The salmon nice smokey flavour and the croissant was flakey. My friend got an opera cake, which was thick and decadent.
I really like the vibe of the place and would be a nice date location

One of the best cafes I have been to in ages. My man who is a black coffee man even said his coffee was exceptional. Their pastries were excellent too. Price was on par with excellence.

Great food, great tea, and kind service ? however, one thing strikes me as odd about this place...maybe it was just a busy day, but the atmosphere is ruined by people taking pictures everywhere. I've seen people for 20-30 mins take pictures CONSTANTLY. Is social media that important? Also I do not want to be caught in the pictures. I mean it, I've never seen people take so many pictures of a cafe before. Can we not simply enjoy each other's company and enjoy the drinks and food? Or do we have to document every breath we take, every bite of food we take, and every sip we take online? Lol...

Wonderful cafe and delicious drinks. The presentation of the pastries as soon as you walk through the door is amazing!

We stopped here while we were in the neighborhood for a hot drink and a pastry each. The pastries are delightful— on par with the Duchess Bakeshop. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired— they could use more art on the walls or window treatments to soften the light a bit.
While we were there, there were a couple of people with some small kids also enjoying some baked goods, so certainly a spot you could bring some littles.
Lots of selection when it comes to baked goods and treats. Almost too many to choose from!
Coffee and tea were decent.
Kid-friendliness: Low seats, and a wide aisle would accommodate a stroller. If i remember correctly there might be some steps to navigate outside so something to keep in mind.

Slow service on a weekend but good drinks and friendly staff. Pastries are small for the with big price. Nice clean interior.

Love Cafe Versailles, they have the best drinks and breakfast menu! I crave their Avocado toast all the time. Everything is quite expensive, but I imagine the rent in that particular part of town is probably outrageous. Highly recommend! Wish they would update the interior and make it a bit of a warmer atmosphere, would be my one tip.

It's one of the best Cafès in Edmonton. Love the atmosphere, the bakery, and pastries and their food fresh and tastes good with rich flavors.
I go there every once in a while or when I crave their food and desserts, and it's really worth it.
