I had a birthday cake made for my partner’s 30th birthday by Cake Couture and it was truly perfect. I sent a photo of his favourite pair of shoes and Cake Couture took care of the rest of it. I couldn’t have imagined how perfect it would turn out. The cake tasted fantastic as well. Every single guest at the party was raving about it and taking photos of the cake. It was a highlight of the birthday. I’ve ordered many cakes from different stores in Edmonton and Cake Couture is BY FAR the best - no doubt. Highly recommend!!!!

I ordered a cake for my husband. I left it to 1 week before his birthday and was so happy that I was still going to be able to get one. I emailed my ideas and talked with Olivia about everything and she was super helpful. When I went to pick the cake up I was so surprised- , I knew it was going to be great just from all the photos of her work on the website but it was stunning, so much more amazing than I even expected. We got an absolutely STUNNING cake and smash cake for my son’s 1st birthday. I left a lot of the design up to Olivia to see what she would come up with and I was blown away. Olivia created the best looking and most delicious cake we have ever seen. I've been to weddings where the cake looked great, but tasted only OK; that was certainly not the case for our wedding! We received countless compliments on not just the look, but the taste of the cake. Olivia was affordable and great to deal with, making sure we had the perfect creations. Our wedding happened to fall on my Brothers birthday(and Oilers vs Panthers game 1), Olivia had the perfect secondary cake for such an occasion. The unique flavour of her buttercream icing brought back nostalgic memories of home-made buttered banana bread in the best possible way. She delivered both cakes on-time and set them up perfectly. We sampled as many cake options in the Edmonton area as we could in the 12 months from our engagement to the ceremony and Cake Couture was by far the best.

We ordered our wedding cake through cake couture. There were plenty of flavors for buttercream and cake to choose from for the cake tasting order. They were all tasty, and we went with the vanilla cake and swiss buttercream for our cake. Their buttercream was absolutely divine - perfectly smooth and not too sweet. Olivia was very pleasant to work with. She ensured that the cake fit our vision (we drew her a picture and sent some photos but she still called to clarify some small details, which we appreciated). She was also kind enough to deliver and set up the cake at our venue on a Sunday even though she was supposed to be off that day, and we were super grateful.

The cake itself was a wonder to look at -- cutting into it was ultimately tragic but satisfying once layers of luscious cream and succulent cake were exposed. Hands down one of the best tasting birthday cakes I have tried!
