Not Great food as expected, we had been to CPK at Pheonix,Arizona and this was not upto it. The bowls were just ok. There are better pizza places in Edmonton. The service is so slow, we waited for an hour and they gave a patio seating, it was so hot that even after requesting they did not change the seating even though they had some empty tables inside and outside.

Overall great experience! We ordered a spicy honey bee pizza which pretty good. Service-wise, our server Kyra was super kind and attentive. All of the other staff were also friendly. We mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday in our reservation and they even offered a free dessert from the menu!

This place is horrible. We sat down and it took over 35 minutes for someone to help us. I’ve heard from other people this has happened to them too. The management and staff are horrible here. Don’t come unless you want horrible service

What a wonderful dining experience. My sister and I decided to check out California Pizza at the Southgate location. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

The place itself looks lovely and has a nice, welcoming vibe. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the atmosphere. We ordered a cheese pizza, and it surprisingly didn’t have enough cheese. That’s a first for us—my kids didn’t even finish their first slice, which says a lot for a cheese pizza.

Service was extremely fast. While quick service is usually a plus, this felt a bit rushed and took away from the overall dining experience.

I really wanted to like this place because it looks great, but the food quality needs improvement to match the setting. Unfortunately, this was definitely our last visit here.

Today I returned with a friend for lunch, one of the very many times I’ve eaten here since it opened. It’s a bit of a haul of a drive, literally across Edmonton from where I live. It’s always been well worth the travelling.

I have done numerous reviews, via updates, of the restaurant. There’s only been one time that my experience was not 100% positive.

My experience today was so stellar I decided to delete all previous reviews and start a new thread.

As I walked into the restaurant, it was clean and cosily warm. This restaurant always has a calm atmosphere I’ve enjoyed whenever I come. As I took my seat with my friend awaiting me, our server immediately came to the table. He was super friendly and announced himself as Aidan. During the next couple of hours Aidan looked after us without fault; he knew his job, the menu, he readily checked with the kitchen regarding food allergies. He seamlessly went table to table looking after the customers, he interacted with everybody so well and so personably you’d have thought he was a family member. My husbands a red seal chef by trade, and Aidan could fit into any fine dining restaurant without effort he’s so good at his job.

The food was great, I had Thai chicken thin crust pizza (amazing, you couldn’t ask for better), my friend had wings:soup and salad.

I spoke to the manager, to tell him personally how well Aidan had looked after us. Thank you so much CPK on your hiring abilities!

I would like to appreciate excellent work performed by your team member who has initials of DP. There was a problem in preparation of our order on Friday Dec 5, 2025, which was pointed out by us on phone to DP, she was kind enough to prepare the correct order and deliver it to our door step in cold weather.
