This is a gem of a place. Cozy, colorful n simple but a very friendly vibe. Something to rave about was a Horchata drink. Horchata (halal ingredients) was absolutely delicious and worth being thirsty all day for. With the music and guests doing karaoke in Spanish, a busy dancefloor blowing foaming bubbles, n' a disco ball, just made the evening even better and loads of fun. Service from the waiter and /live music/dj was outstanding. I would definitely recommend to all friends.

Excellent service! The pastor and birria tacos wow, delicious 😍 The pina colada was delicious too, not artificial, you could feel the natural pineapple in every sip 🍍🍹 we went to celebrate my husband's birthday and everyone was very attentive and nice when singing the mornings and take photos! Many thanks for everything!

It was ok. They service could be improved. we had to seat ourselves but you have to wait to be seated. And you do not order at the table, you have to get up and order at the til. They also pre charge you before receiving the food… they forgot our chips and guacamole that we had to remind them of after 15 mins….

Nice secret place by White Ave. With investment and better advertising this place could be the next Azucar nightclub of the south side becauss they have music, dancing and karaoke Friday and Saturday nights!! Plus cheap tacos all night long!!! They need a bigger sign and ads in Whyte Ave to direct more traffic!
I absolutely love the food here, it’s really good! Usually we order from skip the dishes, but unfortunately we’ve been running into a reoccurring issue. I always write on the order in all caps and stars that I have a dairy allergy, but the restaurant has missed this message three times & on three separate occasions has put cheese on my food when I asked for no cheese. I can’t eat my order at all anymore, and since it was delivered late (not their fault, just unfortunate circumstance), I now have to figure out what to make at home. The most frustrating part is I can never get ahold of them after my order has been delivered to ask for any sort of credit or refund. I’ve called twice tonight & the phone is busy, when I try to leave a message their answering machine is full. I thought I would post a review to see if I could hear back from the restaurant about this issue, & also warn anyone with allergies to be careful.

Service is above average, the server I had was very nice. Food is good, definitely above average from what I’ve had in Edmonton for Mexican food. I am Mexican so I definitely criticize Mexican food a little more than the average reviewer. I had an order of carne asada (steak) tacos and an order or carne asada sopes. Taste was definitely good, they keep it simple and close to authentic. The size seemed a little smaller than usual for both the tacos and the sopes, especially for the price. Their horchata is a 5/5. I will definitely come back since Mexican food options are limited in Edmonton and this is one of the better Mexican options here.
