Nothing is good, save your money and not going there
The coffee beans didn’t have a roast date and are priced in a way where that’s a non-negotiable. The worker said it was roasted last week but after tasting it, the beans were clearly stale and the aromatic hints were gone. The WiFi also didn’t work. They also don’t have a bike rack which is a shame cuz coffee + bikes is a powerful combo.
Stopped here on a whim on my way to a conference because conference coffee is always garbage. I'm so glad I did, I'll be back when I'm in the area! This might be my favourite latte in the city, it was absolute perfection. Also, the vibes here are immaculate, I wish I lived nearby so I could come chill and work in the loft space. I also see they do sip and stitch nights, which sounds absolutely lovely.
Thanks for the great coffee, keep up the good work!!
Nice cafe in an industrial area. Not many outlets so make sure that you come with your computer charged.
Coffee is amazing - had an Americano and flat white and both were great. Good balance on the flat white and espresso came through nicely.
Tried the Brie bagel and the breakfast sand. Breakfast sand was good - English muffin size, but everything home cooked. Very good. Brie bagel was ok. I found it a bit confusing - the balance was off but it had potential. The cheddar and pesto sort of overpowered the sandwich. Pretty good, but not for everyone.
Great place to check out. Our items all in were ~25 for two drinks and two sandwiches. Not bad and worth stopping in for
I get my oil changed at Meineke and always spend the time waiting at Candid Coffee Roasters. The breakfast hand pie is to die for and the espresso is some of the best I've had in the city.
It's also a cozy little shop with an upper level with seating, and a few tables with outlets, handy for students/workers. Highly highly recommend.
Forget atmosphere, Candid Roasters was perfect for a cool late fall day. We really liked their style of coffee, espressos!

Great coffee, in a nice spot. A little understaffed, so expect to wait 2min to order.

Lovely, hidden café and coffee roaster. The space is beautiful and sunny and I’m still thinking about how perfect that cappuccino was. Would happily go again.

I live in west end and my guest was in the south east. We picked Candid because it was kinda in the middle and we were looking for a regular place to meet. Unfortunately this place is not it. Coffee in a very small cup for the price. Extremely limited menu at an outrageous price that discouraged us from going back. Changes are needed if this business is going to succeed.
