I was at the airport with a kilogram of the espresso in my bag. I got randomly selected for additional screening and when they went through my bag the security agent couldn’t believe how good the beans smelt. He asked me where they were from and after I told him he said he was gonna check it out. All you gotta do is smell these beans and everyone wants to try them. Love this place.

Visiting from Seattle and Candid was the first coffee shop I stopped at in Edmonton and it did not disappoint. The coffee was delicious and the baristas I chatted with were super friendly and welcoming. Great vibes all around, I’d happily come back next time I’m in town.

Just stopped here for the first time! It's right in the same block as my chiropractor but I had no idea it was tucked around the corner! I grabbed a quick latte to go. The staff were so friendly and chatty, and the latte is delish. Will definitely make it a regular spot!

I was at the new location in Highlands, first time the coffee was fresh and tasty. Second time, I ordered the medium to light roast and it was bitter, sour, too dark, not fresh at all. I couldn't drink it. $4 for a small cup. Consistentsy is key. Keep your coffee fresh. I miss Mandolin Books already.

This place is a bit out of the way but the coffee is good, there’s goodies and sandwiches (small selection but adequate) should you desire. Worth checking out
