Delicious. I devoured the whole thing. I think what I really liked about the schnitzel and waffle dish is that a schnitzel is thin instead of the traditional chicken and waffle which can be too overwhelming with protein. Also the waffle is thinner and a bit crispy so it stays crispy even with syrup. It didn't get soggy at all. I was really happy with this one.

This place is surely one of the best place to eat in the neighborhood. Whenever I come there I am extremely glad. They hold their high level service and the highest level of dishes they serve. You surely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

Last week was our first time we went to this good restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the efficient service, with the great meal and booze and with the modest price. We will absolutely go back there again.

Giving 5 stars because I like what they’ve done and they seem like a small business, however I was disappointed that they didn’t have any non-dairy options available.. also wasn’t overly impressed with the response.. but hard to read tone with masks so left at 5 stars despite having the experience of a 3 or 4 star.

Great atmosphere, great staff. I loved it here and it has a nice local vibe. Definitely a good spot to stop if you're out for a mountain bike ride too considering the trails are right there.

I am so glad this establishment is operating during the pandemic. It is following very strict protocols to protect its customers. In spite of the limitations due to Covid, Cartago provides amAzing service and absolutely delicious food.

Such a great spot. Cartago reminds me of my Oma’s cooking. The prices are affordable and the food is top notch. I’ve introduced a few friends to this place and they all love it. They’re taking covid-19 seriously and I appreciate all precautions they’re taking. I’ve done both inside dining and patio dining here in the past 2 months. Try the grilled cheese berlin!
Covid-19 customer service doesn’t need to be this awful, but unfortunately, it really was at Cartago last night. Friends and I choose Cartago’s patio for our only weekend outing of wine and appetizers but instead were astonished by how unscrupulous the staff were. Female associate rolled her eyes and glared, as we were shuffled to order inside with no patio service and disorganized bar service (plastic cups only for wine? no one else does this). An ill-fitted dining experience that I can only describe as ‘Ikea Cafeteria’ outing.Don’t waste your money here. Given that small businesses will be one of the worst-hit during the pandemic, I want to support local but also expect valued experience in return. You would think Cartago would be doing everything they can to retain customers but really offering their very least. Very disappointing. Support other local YEG restaurants.

Came here to meet with friends to sit on the patio, they wanted to serve wine in plastic cups and would not let us run a tab on the patio nor did they have a server out there.Aside from that the female associate behind the desk was rolling her eyes at us for questioning the situation.Honestly I felt uncomfortable with the service set up...as there was no service.Super nice place. Service is lacking.

Service was amazing! The man that was at the till was so nice. The food was delicious! I had the grilled cheese burlin and it was light yet filling. The wedges were good and I definitely reccomend the sausage platter. Its affordable and definitely a friendly place to go for a nice night. Loved it, I will definitely be back!

I believe when you got out for a drink, you go as much for the atmosphere and presentation of the drinks as much as the drink itself. Last night, I ordered a 13 dollar 2 oz tequila cocktail. What I was served was a pathetic, sugar drink served in a flimsy, barely dollar store worth plastic cup. Very, very small to begin with, and it only came 2/3 full. Looked and tasted like kool-aid, with 2 ice cubes thrown in for added " presentation". I'm sure there was no more than 1/5 o
